Sonim won't stay connected to my F80

Has anyone been able to keep a Sonim connected to their F80, F82 or F83? I love the robustness of the phone since I work in an industrial environment and enjoy that it keeps a charge for at least a week and almost two, if I don't use it. It will not stay connected. It keeps losing and reconnecting to the car. So I just leave it unconnected.
