Pics of - F80 w/ Sonoma Beige?

Hi,
I haven't found many good pics of "actual" sonoma beige interiors. There are a few of early press launch and "professional" photos floating around, but not any actual cars from form members.

Has anyone taken delivery of a sonoma beige interior car? Would love some pics.

I am thinking of changing my interior from Blk to Beige in a SSII F80.

I'm really amazed at how few pics of SB are floating around, particularly given the limited choice of interior options. My dealer didn't even have a swatch when I placed my order.

I have a few Iphone pictures of a BSM M4 with the Beige Interior I took at ED drop-off in MUC but they are on my home PC. I will post when I get a chance but I will tell that all in our group was very underwhelmed with the Beige. It just does not fit this car at all and nobody liked it. I guess that is why its so hard to get pics since few takers

ahhh..... Thanks so much for the info and for the offer to post pics. I am very sorry you have that impression on your new baby. That's a serious bummer. Look on the bright side, it can only grow on you from here.

I had a similar color in a previous car and wasn't in love with it at all, but it sure did get lots of comments (seemed everyone else liked it).

This SB/SB is for sale in Sweden... Looks "okay" on these photos but amazing in real life!

Looks good but I am not sure yet. I think the Beige is appealing to me as a more undercover color. Looks kinda sleeper or more lux than sport. Less "racer" more "daily driver".

To me.... SO can come across a bit loud & SS is way to much work for me (dog+DD= more work than I want on seats)

Black is a little boring and what I already have plus in the sun it's just not fun.

That leaves beige, was hoping it would work for me.... Is it just me or is the CF trim with beige an oxymoron?

Looking like the black is best for me after all.

The BSM/Beige is not my car so no worries. I have the AW/Full SO combo which looks stunning and the most popular combo for a reason. The car in my Avatar is actually me in the car at Nurburgring.

I also am amazed how few pics there are and interest in the Sonoma beige. I like it a lot, i just want to know if the color is true in real life.

Also Id like to replace the CF trim with piano black, I think that'd be classier.

Knowing bmw part prices youre probably right. It better be perfect though since I and passengers will be looking at it a lot.

I am sure you can find a reputable body shop that will offer you a great solution. Prob even has some great products that will not scratch easily.

Even a custom paint job would be great right on the dash trim..... huh.... maybe flames.....

This kind of looks like SB interior on a YMB car, but I think it's actually SS interior. Just a lot of amber in the lighting. Good idea what it would look like nonetheless, and I'm shocked at how great it looks.

That's where I am too. SO is too bright, SS too light. Black is, meh. That leaves SB.

If I don't go with Sonoma Beige though, I'm going with black.

I really wish there was a brown. I love terra cotta leather in my 1.

Have you seen SO in person? Almost none of the pics on the forum reflect how it actually looks IRL- it's not bright at all and is more brown/orange mix than red. The Configurator shows it perfectly and far better than any photo I've seen or taken of mine:

Nope, haven't seen it in person. But I haven't seen a picture that doesn't show the over intrusive red/orange to me. It's not a metallic paint that gives over different hues depending on the light, it's a matte leather.

I know a lot of people love it, but it's just not for me.

Its def more red than a brown or orange irl.

Unfortunately, most people do not have correctly color calibrated monitors (or even good enough monitors to display accurate colors) so we may never see the true color
