Yas Marina Blue regrets?
Anyone that bought the yas marina blue have seconds thoughts? I saw one this past weekend and really like the color, it was M3 with black rims combo. My past cars were mostly white, thinking about getting something more exotic next time around.
Thanks |

I've seen 2 YMB M3's in person and they look amazing. I ordered mine YMB w/ black interior and black 19's.

YMB for me.
I sat in a car park when i was approached by 3 guys. 2 from a toad works and the other an estate agent All loved my M4 and all said they hadn't seen an M4 in the flesh yet. Moments later i point out a Black M4 sat in the same car park a few spaces infront clearly visible. They all agreed that they would never have seen it if i hadn't pointed it out. To me that was when i knew the YMB was a great choice. Some of the other colours just blend in and go unnoticed. |

Have had YMB M3 for 3 months now and not sure if a day goes by when I don't get asked about the color. Everybody loves it and it really stands out. Which is both good and bad.

I'm on my second M4 as the first Sapphire Black one had some problems. My second M4 is Yas Marina Blue and it gets positive comments all the time whereas the Black one went pretty much unnoticed. It's a color that seems to be appreciated by everyone, especially car guys.

Ymb was my first pic as a color, but after seeing it I realized I'm not man enough to pull it off. By looking at my birth certificate I could've gotten this info sooner. Op, Ymb is truly a lovely color. I'd go for it. Don't be that guy in the white car who spends his Fridays googling dating agencies because he realized he had a lot of hopes, but no balls to make things happen.

Love my YMB. I wanted something that sets the car apart from every white or silver camry on the road.

I love the YMB look on M3, SO on M4. But the attention is not what I am looking for, so it is not for me. Seen AY used for sale, looked great in flesh as well, but I just do not want to deal with the attention on daily bases. Nothing wrong if you don't mind it, YMB is certainly color that people will notice and compliment you on. I would choose the silver wheels with YMB myself. Just my $0.02. |

i've seen a lot of these threads over the last year and I went through the same concerns when I got my YMB M3 10 months ago. In fact, my wife hated it originally. I have had no regrets and actually like it more over time. And 10 months later I still get compliments almost every weekend. Plus its really easy to find in parking lots.

A boy pulls off nothing, so with them the color doesn't matter. For me so was too red, and since every time I see a woman driving a red sports car I think they found the hubby from bed with the nanny, and that was the compensation baggage. I love my Austin yellow boy, and if I were a man, I would be left alone more but when I first got him, I was pulled over so often I had to start recycling my lines to the cops because I couldn't come up with new originals. That go me was a sad moment. I got pulled over even in Wyoming! THere are no cops in Wyoming!

All of this! You may want the compliments and attention but don't forget that you will also be getting attention from the cops also. Definitely a great color but I don't need to be seen that much.

I almost bought one, but after looking at it long and hard I liked it, didn't love it.
I think you know right away weather it's the colour you want. I'm perfectly happy to admire it on other peoples M3/4 |

It is so damn awesome when we remember what those days felt like. Now we are old, grumpy, and when we see a kid who's exited about ours, we just think "I'll kill you if you go near my paint job". I'm truly proud when my kids friends are exited to get into mine and they loving mine, girls especially, gives me the hope we are giving others the dreams we had. So. Damn. Awesome. Sure, you didn't love this, but when you find the car you love, make sure the kids can admire it too.

Lol. I've been warned Germans are a bit put off by Mericans right now spying on their leader and stuff. Best to leave the flag shorts home ;-)
