Last summer I had secured $3,700 off MSRP on an avalanche grey 2017 gt 350 but ended up not pulling the trigger. I regret it now but I can still have one and hopefully I can manage to get a good deal once again.

Nice that Ford provides a free track session but I would not be driving out to Utah from southern Cali unfortunately. If I don't end up with this car it might be an M2 comp if the price is right and an allocation is available at MSRP! These will be my two vehicles I will be looking at.
Should you go with a GT350, good news is that production will extend through 2019. For their Track Attack event, they provide the vehicles. Owners will get to drive a GT350. Guest will have access to a standard GT (I believe with some modifications). So it would be the cost of travel and hotel.

I didn't want two car payments either but it was a good deal ($2.2k below MSRP). Not quite to the level of your opportunity but good enough for me. I am aggressively paying down my S4. The interest rate on the GT350 is 2% via my Credit Union. I don't mind paying some interest as I should have my S4 paid-off within the next 18-24 months.

M2 Comp sounds interesting. Whether MSRP or below will be available, of course, is subject to supply and demand. Best of luck with your next purchase.

I'm hitting the track with it tomorrow for the first time, can't wait!
My struggle is getting a street car like gt4 for a higher cost than a factory racecar (e.g. 997cup goes for $60k these days)

Congrats on the gt4

Congrats! Nice stable. I agree; my F82 never gave me the feeling/soul of my former E92 M3's either. Great options and gadgetry but the driving experience just isn't there.

If I get to return my lease, I would get either a 911 CS or mclaren 570gt.

Are you guys usually trading up or downgrading? and are you trading the M back directly to the dealer for a different vehicle like the jaguar or audi?

I'm still fairly new to owning cars but i dont see how some people are able to jump from car to car so fast (months at a time) without losing out buckets of cash?? Bought my 2013 328i back in Nov 2013 and a year later when i tried trading it in for a comparable C-class benz, it wouldve cost me an extra 10k

Anyways, finally saved up and looking forward to purchasing my first M3 this summer, just curious how everyone is trading up/down their M3 couple of months later down the road.
I can't speak for some of the millionaires on here, I'm certainly not a millionaire, but some of us have multiple cars. Rotating them out every few years means sometimes getting a new car every year. I've gotten a new car every year in the past 3 years, I'll be swapping out two this year and I'll be replacing my F80 next year. Yes, it costs $$$ sometimes, especially when you realize you made a mistake and get rid of a car in just a few months, but you only live once. I know people who swap out exotics like they are candy. New Ferrari every year or so, and several cars in between for their dailies.

You will find most people on here lease their cars and therefore can afford to trade up and down

Sold my M4, went to a C7 Z06 for a bit, then we got my wife an S3 and I loved the AWD, so I hopped into a 2017 GT-R. Really enjoyed that thing for a while and then we found out we are expecting our first, so we got her an SUV (kept the S3 for now) and I traded my GT-R out for an RS7. I used to think my E92 was my favorite all-around car, but the RS7 takes the cake. Now I'm just not sure if I want to hop into an SUV myself (X5M), tune my RS7, or hop into an RS7 Perf.

How did you like the z06 compared to the m4, gtr? Looking to get out of the m4 soon for a more performance oriented car and so far the z06 seems to be on the top of my list.

If you're looking for something more performance oriented, that's definitely a great move to make. The Z06 was an absolutely brutal car, especially with mods. My chief complaint is that it's not easy to tame (I had a 7spd) and can be a bit wild under any condition. Definitely the best handling car I've ever owned though.

I'll be back to naturally aspirated

I just got a 2016 M4, and love the car, but miss natural aspiration. Once I'm back in the market again, in all likelihood I'm going back to a sweet V8. I wish BMW would put them back out......

What is your source on the 2019 production? I just read a few days ago that the production will end in June of this year.

No, not yet. It's at the top of my list though when my lease is up in November.

The Audi TTRS is in a close second.

It was posted on one of the Shelby forums. I believe it was Mustang6G.com and per statement from one of the Ford execs. At the moment, I don't have the link to the statement (from Ford). But I will look for it sometime over the weekend.

I can understand that, in a way, it doesn't make sense. With the pending release of the GT500 and Bullitt models plus the regular production Mustang's, is there room for the GT350. Honestly, I hope production does stop with MY2018. In my opinion, it provides a better opportunity for my car to hold it's value.

went from my F80 to a Cayman GT4. no looking back. never fell in love with the turbo motor - it killed the excitement for me. the GT4 is such an amazing experience to drive - you feel like you're strapped to the font of a missile with the engine just inches behind you. and the bucket seats are incredible - they feel more like something you wear than something you buckle into.

just got an allocation for a GT3 RS. very excited. I'll be adding a third car though since I don't want to have to depend on the RS for getting around everywhere. thinking of an e90 M3, or maybe something really different for me like an F01 750il. I have kids and could use the space and utility of a 7 series (not to mention, you can find 6 year old examples with less than 30k miles for around $20k). that's so much car for the money. it seems like all 3, 5 and 7 series cars all end up in about the same price range after 5-7 years.

For a daily driver, I would look long and hard at a Audi SQ5
