I agree with the OP, not sure why anyone else cares what price he is selling his car for. If you don't want it, don't buy it. It's a beautiful car and I wish you luck selling it. Hopefully it goes to someone who takes the same amount of care of it.

This thread is funny stuff...although i agree with just letting the guy sell his car. That being said, I'm a bit biased being an owner of a 2016 SMB full individual, I'm curious to see where this sells. I'm having some thoughts of doing the same come spring.

For what it's worth, there is a SMB for sale on autotrader listed for 62,500.

People are smart. They don't overpay for used cars.

None of the mods on this car have great value to sell off either. No expensive exhaust or wheels. This car with mods is worth low 60's. The strategy makes sense bc his lease is coming up and he doesn't want to part out/thinks he can make some of his payments back. Although he priced it too high - if he was closer to the actual value he could have gotten away with it and had someone pay a small premium.

Adjusted pricing since I found out my buyout numbers are lower and include tax. Also added option with less mods.

Also, after tax his car is almost $68k. My price is $69k with tax and you are getting a car with more mods than his and a full clear bra. So if a model year and 10,000 miles and potential rock chips is worth the $1k savings then that's your car. Mine is a 6/2015 build so it's the last of the 2015s so as far as age they might not even be that far apart.

There's no sales or car tax in Oregon.

And it's a 2016, so comfort access was standard.

One car is in NY, and one is in Oregon. My guess is that neither will get a buyer from the opposite coast!

Your car is gorgeous, and I think a lot of your mods are really awesome. Hopefully, both cars find homes with excited new owners.

Thanks! Also I think the no sales tax benefit would only apply to someone in Oregon

Didn't realize my buyout had tax accounted for in it so the original price was including tax. Realized that might be confusing and not accurately represent the cost of the car so I updated all pricing to not include tax since tax may not apply to all customers and may vary by state. I have a BMW dealership who is going to push the sale through.

it seems to me like he knows what he's doing. He's nearly got 4k views and I'm sure there is someone out there, where 75k maybe even 65k isn't anything more than a kick in the bucket to them. Especially not having to mod the car on your own. Time is always more valuable then money.

Get an extended warranty and you'll be perfectly fine buying this car. Most of the people talking shit on this post cant even afford the car anyways. Even if it was a market value. And there's a lot more that goes into the car than just the monthly note.

Good luck man, she'll be gone soon and on to the next project.

Pretty sure most can afford since we all have ///M . Majority of us paid more than what he originally paid for the vehicle and his first & current asking. That majority doesn’t believe his vehicle was worth the asking of 75k which u can see has dropped a nice amount due to lack of interest. Price is much better and should sell soon

Toss that in the "know your audience" bucket...

Anyways, GLWS OP, I'll give your post a bump. Interested to see if/how much the car sells for.

Considering the sticker on my car was higher than that I don't know where you're buying one for $75k. I mean people told me I listed my last car too high and I told them I didn't care and then I sold it for slightly less than my ask and I ended up removing some mods. So I think I'll stick to my way since I don't really care if someone thinks it's too high.

If someone wants the car at my price I'm selling it. If not I don't see why anyone cares what I list it for. I'm not sitting here bumping my post begging for someone to take it and wondering why it won't move.
You can buy a similar 2018 pretty much anywhere with all the incentives... I'm glad U like ur car and u don't need to sell it, because u prob won't lol. Either way glws
Ok but not in this color. That's another 5k plus alone. Also then you can go spend $10-12k on all the mods and then let me know where you're at.
78850 is the 2018 msrp with full leather and individual color.... with all your options. There are 4500 in incentives plus taking 3k off to be within 1000 or invoice pricing. That lands is at 71xxx plus ttl. For a new one... not a 3 year old one almost out of warranty. Also, hate to break it to ya man, Mods don't add value, and yours are taste specific. I just sold an 2015 m4 that was probably cleaner than yours is and picked up an 2018 m3, I know the market well.
I agree with everything you said except that mods do add value. If they're quality parts that are in good cosmetic/mechanical condition, I generally value them 40-60% of retail price. They certainly aren't free...
