Sorry, didn't mean to upset anyone. I have a zcp. This si just a word of advice which I though would be helpful to some. People can hopefully take my comment at face value.

owning a ZCP and knowing what I know I would still buy the zcp and not wait. But for those that love the GTS and can afford paying more than the zcp (and are willing to wait about a year), then I would wait. Maybe this will answer some questions.

There is always something better coming down the line. I wouldn't pass on the ZCP to wait another year.

I'm excited to see what is coming, but I love my ZCP enough to not be envious at all of a GTS-lite.

And I love my base M4 so much, I'm not envious at all of those with the ZCP. Hec, though I'm glad BMW makes the track-beast M4 GTS, I'm not even envious of those with the GTS.

And I certainly wouldn't wait a year to get any of the M4 models if I really wanted one, waiting around for the "next best thing"....because life is short. There's no time like the present. Why wait when you can start racking up the memories today?

Wait a year?!?! FWIW I waited 2 years for the time to be right to get my non ZCP and I couldn't imagine waiting another. Then again I don't have a huge passion for the GTS edition, (amazing, truly amazing BMW) but not why I bought an M. For someone just looking to add another car to the stable I could see them waiting.

Because spending thousands more from the factory is better than getting the retrofit parts that come after the fact and saving those thousands of dollars
