Does this sound possible?
BMW usually does not have any cash incentives between the months of July-September which is when these cars will start coming to state side. The new model year production in any BMW is usually followed by low residuals, high money factors, and no incentives. They are timing this so that the early adopters pay the premium. I believe by next year around October-December (so 1.5 years from today), things will settle down.

Keyless entry is part of a $4,000 package. WTF, this is so fucking ridiculous. That's literally the ONLY non-standard thing I couldn't do without. Give me that as a $500, hell a $1,00 option and I'd order a bare bones M3 with keyless entry and metallic paint.

That's correct. And this is not dealership based either unlike what a previous poster stated. All these programs are driven by BMW.

Indeed. My mistake for overlooking that point. So, technically the standard equipment changes from the MY2013 M3 are a separate topic, though I do think they are the more interesting ones for general discussion.

Other F80 M3 standard equipment that was not present in the 2008 M3 is - BMW Assist (now for 10 years vs. 4 years option in 2008).
Ten years makes a lot more sense, at least if the original owner keeps the car. Does the service transfer to a new owner when sold?

Exactly. And, exactly why I will spec my car with CF trim even though I'd prefer aluminum if I had to choose between those two only. I figure the CF trim has a higher resale value than the aluminum trim. The F3x guys will likely eat it up.

On the topic of Piano Black trim - I wonder if it is at all feasible to simply refinish the Anthracite trim with a Piano Black look? I suppose it depends on the wood grain which may be finer on the Piano Black than on other wood trims such as the Anthracite in order to deemphasize the texture and highlight the dark shade itself. But that aside, I'd think that if you took it to a woodworking shop with good finishing skills, they could pull it off with more than acceptable results.

The one other problem with the Piano Black trim is that, like all of the wood trims, it requires the Chrome Trim Highlight Finisher. This sort of kills it for me. I would much prefer the Black Chrome finisher. I suppose the only way to get that would be to go through individual, which would probably balloon costs even more. Or, I suppose one could attempt to separate the trim finishers from wood trim and from a donor piece of CF or aluminum trim and swap them. Apparently folks have done this type of surgery with the red and blue finishers as found in the F3x Sport and MSport respectively. But it sounds like a dicey proposition with potentially expensive consequences if you mess it up.

I guess that the same transfer terms when it was 4 years are still present for the now 10 years. And to add, this new BMW Assist (with Nav) also includes BMW Online/BMW Search free for 3 years. Used to be part of the $199-a-year Convenience Plan.

I paid $650 or $750 over ED dealer invoice on my e90 m3.

I'll wait a year or two before I can get this deal again on an f80 m3.

That is absolutely the only deal that I can do with this car... thus a 2017 LCI F80.

Not bad!

This will be a great car to drive to and from work everyday. On the weekends, I might do some donuts in the mall parking lot!

Thank God for leasing!!!!

I'd go back to them and ask for some new math or something.

$1900 for Driver Assistance Plus? That package INCLUDES Side and Top View cameras, so I wouldn't pay another $750 for it.

Also, the Power Rear Sunshade isn't $925. It's $575 (and if you are getting Full Leather - which you are - it's only $350).

So, not sure if it's their math or yours, but that price should be lower by $1325.

Unless I am reading it wrong, the rear sun shades are plus 350 if you go full leather.

Thats bullshit Stig.. Stop shitting on every thread.. This isn't my first rodeo. I have confirmed mine so speak for yourself. When you buy a lot of cars from a dealer they want to keep you coming back. Do you understand how this works? I specifically stated it may not be the same for him.. Mine however will be the case. Thanks for stopping by.. bye bye

CCA is not a discount. It's a program run by CCA, refund check. You'll have to check with CCA to see if it applies.

The problem I have with waiting is that we don't know if invoice-plus deals will be a given by then either. It all depends on how much demand there is.
