Red start/stop button

The aftermarket button is of fine quality & fits perfectly - differences between it & M5 button are the face edge radius is slightly larger than the OEM, & button slightly domed whereas OEM is flatter. New button also has gloss paint instead of matte - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Knowing how paint wears, the gloss my last longer then the matte

I think the addition of the brushed trim ring I got also sets it off even more & is a nice addition

All in all very happy with the button & the mod, it's little things like this that make your car individual to you

Okay, in reality, button is perfect.

Just got me started on fixing my sticky buttons, and rerouting my phone cable.

This was collateral damage.

Easy fix.

Unfortunately, you can't buy just the piece that broke - you have to buy the entire switch assembly

In a pinch you could use a flat screwdriver with thin blade wrapped in electrical tape - the vinyl part of the dash is quite forgiving

Mine's leather I think. And looking at the pictures, it's a bit more snug.

Ah yes, with M3 it be leather - I have the lesser vinyl in my F32

Once you get the tool in between the switch & dash it pops right out with no effort - just be careful inserting tool in the tiny tight gap in between to start

Color is more like Shakir orange then actual red color to me.

The leather dash is actually quite more forgiving because the dash is more padded.

I just got and installed mine. I think it looks good. Adds a little color to the interior.
I honestly would love to get one in a blue carbon fiber Kevlar mix like my Eventuri intake and seat backs but so far have had no success. Not bad for $40.

Just line it up in front of your current button and tap it into place with a sledgehammer.
