The RS5 design is much more elegant in my opinion, but I would rather buy an M4 than an RS5, mostly for the manual transmission... I would prefer a Cayman S or GTS to either the M4 or the RS5.

Enjoy your new M4, it's about as good as the RS5

I think if it was manual, I wouldn't get rid of it... It's the transmission, plus lack of any part to upgrade or tinker with is killing my hobby
Thanks.

[QUOTE=brava09;16328454]Sorry, but look wise the RS5 takes the win vs the M4.
The Audi looks like a Freightliner next to the M4.... In the last 10years I have owed a 993TT,997GT3,Audi4S,GTR....I can't wait for my M4 vert to come in...what a cool car No stick anymore for my a DD, my MK-4 and all my bikes give me enough manual work out, must be getting old |

I've owned 3 Audi's so far... and I could never connect to any of them... they are just boring. Maybe because I'm still a ricer deep down and I like what BMW has to offer with their M division. Again, don't take it so hard... it's a car. It's a personal opinion.

I'm simply stating how can a car that is smaller (RS5) in length and height look like a freightliner next to a car that has bigger dimensions (the M4). |

Same thing happens on audizine forum... BMW is slow, interior sucks and it's outdated. No reason to get upset or worked up over it. What matters is how you feel about it. If you love your S5, more power to you. I wish I could just stick to one car for at least 2-3 years. I need to find another hobby damn it... maybe ought to look into stamp collecting.

There's some novelty effect that's exciting when you get a new car, but it dissipates quickly, and then you need to get a new car. Some people consider it a hobby, but I see it as just consumerism. A hobby means doing something, not just buying stuff to get short-lived excitement from the purchase. I like owning a nice car or two... Audi/BMW/Porsche/Mercedes, etc... They all make some great cars, but they're just cars. They won't keep you excited and stimulated for long, and there's no real point in jumping from one to the other frequently. At least that has been my personal experience... |

Audi's are just not that mod friendly as BMW is. The only thing I could do to an Rs5 is lower it (done), put spacers (done), get exhaust, get different wheels, upgrade brake lines if I were to track it. That's it. In my mind, RS was always a bridge between e92 m3 and new one... I saw a good deal where I actually could get more than my M was worth and took it. If I were to trade in my e92 M3, I would have barely gotten 30k for it.

Wasn't into spending 15-20k on a car I won't keep... Nor like.
