YMB is a neck-breaker. When it comes to blending in and being a bit more "subtle", Tanzanite is a great option. The depth of the Tanzanite color is incredible and IMO really shows off the body lines of the M very well.

As my car arrives at the port, I'm still second guessing the color.

I picked up TZB with SSII because I wanted a deal on a car on the lot, and wanted out of my 335 lease early, so instead of building my perfect car, I found this. Not my ideal color combo (mine would be MG/SO or SS/SO), but I think if I have any thoughts about TZB, it's that the CF pieces don't pop that much until you're up close. This came with all of those pieces from the factory, but I'm going to replace the rear spoiler with the high kick version from Mode Carbon, just so it pops a little more. The car is at my detailer this week getting coated, filmed, and tinted, so that will help some too. I also wanted a car that could shine from time to time, but stayed mostly under the radar. MG was my top choice, but this is similar in that way. It's a great color, but not perfect. I'm not a YMB fan, but I think you'll really love how it's relatively easy to keep clean, and makes those CF parts pop.

TZB/SS looks great. You chose wisely!

Tanzanite is simply stunning. Yas is pretty but doesn't have that drool factor IMO.

Wow! I cant believe how imbalanced the results of the poll are. Very interesting!

Tanzanite blue with amaro interior FTW!

YMB + SS interior = total Smurf!

(J/K - buy what you like, and screw what anyone else thinks!).

Its probably why 90% of cars on the road are some shade of white/black/gray. People typically stick to conservative colors which shows in the poll results. I know I needed some convincing from myself that it was ok to buy a baby blue car.

I didn't! I had a YMB/SO... loved the contrast and being different.

I disagree - while I personally have started to like Yas - many people (dare I say more than 50%?) simply do not like the color. I think you would find these poll results very different if it was something like Laguna Seca or Long Beach. Just my thoughts of course.

However, I do agree that people are moving towards more bland colors* - my wife is interested in a new Mini Clubman and it comes in every shade of bleh except for one red choice.

*I just don't think Tanzanite is a conservative color.

Smurf is what my wife says about Yas, and she was on the fence about my EB F30, so we ordered our F80 in Tanz. I'm afraid it's going to be as tough as black to keep clean though.

I've mainly had white and silver cars. YMB was the first color that really blew me away in person. It's such a dynamic color that changes depending on the time of day.

Here are a few pics of my car.

Both are good, but...

(Neither photo has a filter btw ) Really shows the versatility of TB.

Regardless, congrats to OP on the new ride!

I like YAS with SO interior. Next on the list is probably Yellow or Red. I would never order my M3 in a conservative color.

I wanted a blue M3 after owning a white one. I got one. I'm happy. I would have been just as content if I got a classy TB.

If you are under 30 then YMB, otherwise Tanzanite.
