Brushed silver HRE Classic 300's on this particular car would more or less break the internet. Just saying! Your car is already the definition of classy, I love it.

Then when you get bored of those HRE's, you can sell it to me so I can throw them on a Signal Green F80

That's the flavor of the week haha, I change my mind all the time, but I think that's what I'm really aiming for. It's going to be a stripper Signal Green F80, with the same style of mods you are going for (not over the top, but menacing looking still).

Great looking color combo. I was leaning Tanzanite, but now thinking I need to step up and spend even more for SMB. My F83 would be $90k, though!

So here's the question: How does it look when it's not freshly washed? My Z4 is Sterling Gray, which looks great well driven (not dirty, but not freshly waxed, either). I prefer to drive more than wash/wax. Will SMB hold up it's beauty in these circumstances?

SMB has a lot of depth and is very vibrant, so even a bit dirty, the color stands out and looks pretty good. That being said, i'm particular about the car and generally don't let it get filthy if it can be avoided. The worst it ever got was after applying modesta and having to wait 2 plus weeks for it to cure and not washing it. That was torture...

That said, it's far from Space grey (which I own on my x5) and it's ease of care. SMB is a dark color....so every little thing shows on it. Although it won't be any worse than tanzanite in that regard.

FWIW, tanzanite was my top choice till I went to see it in person...in the sun, clean, it pops... When I saw one it was dirty and the color was really lacking at that point. So, if that's how you plan to leave your car, I think tanzanite may disappoint you a bit.

If I didn't have such a restricted timeline, I'd definitely opt for this color or Nardo Grey. But the added wait times and cost scare me away.
Car looks fabulous.

It shows dirt pretty quickly. Even worse now with the snow and salt on the roads around me. I has estoril blue before and it almost always looked clean, SMB is amazing when clean and still looks good when somewhat dirty but it definitely shows. I've been taking it to the wash every 1.5 weeks since they started salting the roads by me. Once a month before then.

Believe it or not I think a dark satin colored wheel would set this blue off. We did an F10 recently and I couldn't believe how much it worked together. It was amazing.

I have to agree on the classic 300s. looks like a lot of peer pressure in here... I hope it works!
