Exactly! I like my F80, but only a moron would think that an F12 is that slow.

Must have been the weather or maybe the cars did a lot of runs already, so many variables, but heat is def a factor here. That M4 should have ran 11 flat at least in the 1/4 and then maybe 16 for the half.

Here, I did a better approximation.
Under the BMW website, I choose all performance packages (I'm pretty sure that's what the team/company did when building this m4).

It came out to roughly $92k (Not including taxes, fees, etc). So, more than likely $100k +

Then, if you read some of the articles on that m4, they state that it was a tune from "KK-Performance." All I could find online was a KA (King Automotive) Performance from Germany. I don't read/write German, but navigating through their site, you can see some of the products they have for sale. Just the Akropovic exhaust system for this car is over $7k (US).

So, with tuning, upgrade on brakes, upgrade on internal motor parts, etc, it has to easily exceed $50k. I'm not even including labor, I'm pretty sure as a team/company, the labor was "free" lol.

This m4 possibly cost over $200k US because it seems to be a European build; therefore, Euro > US

If the Ferrari costs $320k, I'd still go for the Ferrari, lol. This is a little over 1 second that the m4 beat it by. And it's over 700bhp stock! Imagine what you could do with an extra $10k - $20k in aftermarket parts
Lol Thank you brother haha, I wasn't to far off my guesstamations haha, we sell tons of m4s in the 90-110k range. That's what South Florida does.
lol haha I guess I got the cheap M4 since my 6MT non-CBB version is only $77K

Incorrect statement bud. Unless that Ferrari is in $95,000 range. You can make an M4 do that for around 10g's.

Older F1 cars. Current F1 cars sound like portable vacuum cleaners low on charge. F12 sounds amazing.

Goddamn I love that F12, it's a sexual package all around. That M4 is seriously quick though, very impressive!

All I'm saying (hypothetically) is is rather get the F12 because I would have to do absolutely nothing to it. It already has 700+ bhp. Whereas, the M4 needs to be tweaked and done correctly to handle that amount of power/boost.

I think the longevity of the F12 motor would surpass the M4. It's just my theory. The M4 was built for 400+ bhp. Anything higher means that internals and other parts must accommodate that power.

Both beautiful cars. But when it gets into the 6-figure range, the Ferrari would be the dream to get

I'd still take the Ferrari. It's like saying modified hondas beat our BMWs. I'd still rather have the BMW.

Obviously. You can buy many M4s for the price is a F12 but for some one that can "only" afford a modified M4 this is awesome.

How many $100+ M4's out there? lol not many. $80K is probably still higher than average being that they start at $66K.

Okay so fine. $110K M4. $10K for turbos. $7K for wheels/tires. $2K for tune. $5K for exhaust/intake. $1K for dyno time. I'm still $185K short of the F12
Unless you live in Australia, 165k + !!! and that is Stock OEM

Ferrari's are a thing of beauty and in a completely different league. A friend had an 08' 360 years ago and just riding around in that thing was awesome. Had the pleasure of driving it, great great machine.
you mean 08 430.
But I hear Ya.

Funny thing is, many of the members of Ferrarichat would be too afraid to enter their F12 in a drag race like this. It might hurt the resale value...
You are correct sir, it was a 430. Amazing cars!

See, nobody knows about the F12 motor longevity because not a single one of them will reach 100k miles. Not one.

Where there are quite a few highly tuned BMWs in that mileage range. The thing to understand is that a 700BHP motor doesn't produce 700BHP all the time - not even 1% of the time. It is mostly churning out 50-150BHP as you drive around town, with occasional 5-10 sec spikes of full throttle.

I'm not saying I don't want an F12, if I were shopping in that bracket, the M4 wouldn't be on my list even as a daily beater. Would simply not enter the conversation.

F12 never gets old. Such a gorgeous car! I don't care how fast that M4 is.
