Is it just me or does interior spy shots of the new g series look pretty cheap and bad? I’m one to not always love the newest versions interior, but at the very least always like the newer and updated interior

Those spy shots are likely of a M wearing a 3series costume with an wider wheel base. The M car will definitely have more pronounced "hips".

Yes I think the interior is where the F8x generation will really show its age. Based on the new M5/X5/8 series BMW is making big steps forward in interior quality and hopefully the new M3 inherits a bit of that.

The interior of F8x may look somewhat outdated but the exterior and tech (if optioned) should keep the car in style for a few years down the road. I saw the new X3 and I honestly don't think my car looks older.

After a week with the new X3, the M3 is starting to show its age especially the 360 degree cameras and digital dash. Didn't think I'd like the digital dash but it's pretty nice. I think iDrive 7 is gonna make iDrive 6 and below feel really dated

I think the interior will age well - the layout is understated and not overly stylized.
Full leather will help a lot - interior plastics get better but leather is leather. |
