Good thing that car waiting to make a left turn decided to wait until you guys passed. Could have been a nuclear wreck.

It's Sunday morning. I predict 2 pages on lambasting followed by a lock down

That's nice but I'd like to see the incidence of harm in the two distinct populations: people that have guns and those who street race.. I'm willing to bet the incidence of harm is much higher in the street racing population

Not sure I get your point? Are you saying one is OK because there might be fewer deaths?

Over 30,000 people die on US roads every year. Just a few years ago it was in the 40,000+ range each year. These clowns is part of the problem. For perspective, about 6,700 US service members have died in combat since 2001 - 14 years of fighting wars. That many people die in car accidents in under 3 months. Don't forget the innocent bystanders that often get hurt during a street race gone bad.

I do not persuade or condone this behavior to anyone. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions. We made sure road was clear. As for deaths a year from street racing its not as much as you think it is. Their are more fatalities from regular driving incidents.
