What do you guys think, should I keep driving it or sell it?

I don't race or go to the track, just drive it to and from work and often drive out to Las Vegas, Utah, San Diego often for leisure.

Never really pushed my vehicle, other than driving on the fwy going with a steady pace of 100mph.

I did purchase the 100k miles maintenance warranty and did add mods to it.

Anyone interested in purchasing my car? Haha
Sounds like you will be in the same high mileage situation with the next car. So might as well keep this one if you are not bored and enjoy that 100K warranty :P

Did your pads and rotors get replaced under warranty? Was dealer aware of track days?

Thanks

Yes - dealer aware of track days - including alternator pulley/belt failure at track event - dealer still replaced - labor and material fully covered under warranty. However - I've never needed new pads or rotors since tracking (as I swap stock pads for Pagid RS29's when tracking) - so not sure what would happen there - if dealer felt a problem with pads or rotors arose independently of track use - or a defect arose with either during track use (as distinguished from normal wear and tear from track use - maybe it would still be covered - depending upon the exact warranty language). Otherwise, pads rotors may not be covered...

No, lol. That would be stupid haha. I'd at least get one in another color if I had the money to own 2

I had a 2016 that I put 18k miles on and then traded in to get a 2017 and have put on 10k so far.

36,500 miles now. Owned since August 2014. Only things I've had happen:

1. One rain gutter came loose at rear window. Fixed under warranty.
2. Drivers side floor mat lost it's adhesive-backed velcro pad. Got new floor mats under warranty.

...I think that's it. I had my rear bumper tapped at 3mph; not enough to crack it but enough to deform the tow hook cover opening, so I had the rear bumper replaced. Perfect match and paint job by a great shop.

Brakes still say 140k miles pad life for front brakes and 120k miles pad life for the rear. Visual inspection supports that - these pads are amazing performance and wear so slowly. If you can deal with the dust.

Really impressive so far.

At 107000 kms (66447 miles) with everything holding up great.Only issue was it needed a transmission when it lost all the odd numbered gears but that was covered under warranty with no hassles.I have BMW extended warranty till 200000 kms so no real worries.

No as I got the great jerk around from the dealer about having to buy it and them putting a lien on it so they had control of resale on the GTS.I said fine give me my deposit back and they still have it in stock marked up well over list.In hindsight I am glad I did not get it as there are much faster track cars available for a lot less money like a ZL1 1LE.I had a 1LE for a short while but as I could not sell my M4,I gave to it to one of my clients for him to lease from me.

That is one the reasons that my wife just ordered a Land Rover Velar to replace her X3 after having BMW’s for the last 10 years.
