Stage 1
AA mid, BMS intakes, previously had BMS stage 1 tune, and recently got the VF stage 1.
45 - 135 the VF put me about 5-6 cars ahead of where I was with a BMS stage 1. My best friend has a 2014 M6 with a full titanium Meisterschaft exhaust who would previously put 3-4 cars on me and climbing the higher we went up with the BMS tune. After the VF stage 1 I put about 2 cars on him and he said I was still pulling a little bit. |

Not sure what happened to my first sentence - the title - I was asking if you guys were open on Monday, July 3rd as your software for flashing BMWs has expired and your web site has an expired version as well.

Installed latest ZCP like file.
Hi there;
I have a non-ZCP '16 M3. I just installed the latest VF Engineering ZCP like file and GTS DCT flash. In addition to ZCP MDM and ZCP diff coding. I basically transformed the car into a ZCP. Missing adjustable shocks, but selling a 2016 for a 2017 or 2018 is a $20K transaction. So, considering the cost of VF Engineering upgrades I think I made the right financial decision. I really really like the Hex ZCP like flash. Super smooth, sounds great, and just a tad faster. Did I say that it sounds great? Tomasz

stage 2
They updated the software on their site. I had to disable signature validation for the driver, and manually associate it the data cable when it was plugged into my computer; I use Windows 10.
I just put on ESS catted down pipes, charge pipes, and switched to stage 2 by myself. The tuning process could not have been easier. The total process takes 2 minutes. Not sure if it is my car, VF says it is because I was of the very slim minority with sensitivity issues, but the stage 2 tune jives with my car much better. VF was very quick at responding to my questions. Very very happy with the stage 2 tune and ESS pipes. I will find out performance wise this weekend how much of a difference it makes. |

So I've been driving stock for the last month and to be honest, I was kind of getting used to it again. It did feel super slow compared to the tuned car though. I had a lot of issues with throttle sensitivity for some reason with stage 1. Went back to stock cuz I was going to trade my car in. Well, that didn't happen so I wanted the tune back. I was a little worried about the sensitivity issues again but it was worth it for the power and features. So went and got stage 1 put back on yesterday. It's almost better than the first time I got the tune put on. It's crazy how much faster the car feels. After a month I was just starting to get used to the stock power again. I also haven't had any issues so far with throttle sensitivity from a stop. Not sure if they updated it recently or something. Cuz it drives great now. So I'm super glad I have this tune back. Car feels amazing. And it's fun to drive again!

Yes you can. I just did it yesterday. I had to flash back to stock for a dealer visit and when I flashed stage 1 again the car was super jerky and the throttle sensitivity was annoying again. So I reset the adaptations and it seems to be all good now. Did a ton of driving around today and I didn't have any issues. They said it can take several drive cycles to adapt again as well. But so far so good. Took less than 2 minutes to do. Super easy.
