My 2018 F80 on the way to the USA!

I placed an order for my 2018 F80 back on Aug 9th. Just got an email saying my car is on the way to the USA aboard the ship Otello. ETA to Baltimore Port is 9/22.

Anyone else on this ship?

Wish I would have gotten an email. Genius didn't really have anything useful to tell me other than "it's at port waiting to get on a boat"

I get constant updates from my CA. He has been very good at giving me detailed updates. Didn't even call genius

For those of you on the Baltimore ship arriving today 9/22 - CONGRATS!!!

What was your build date? How long did you wait at the port?

I ordered mine middle of August with a build date of 9/14 and I am waiting at the port in Germany for a ship. Trying to determine about how long it will wait.

Just to give you some timelines for mine:

Aug 9th - I placed my order
Aug 20th - Got my VIN and started build
Sep 4th - Finished production
Sep 11 - Got on a vessel and left
Sep 22 - ETA to Port of Balt

Not sure if you can superimpose Jose. I was just looking at the path of Jose and it was directly in the path of Otello.

Basic stripper build.. Alpine white over black extended. 6mt, ZCP, black 666M, CarPlay. Hopefully getting “free” Icon w/o ZEC according to VIR.

It's at or already past the VPC. W&W seems to update status to 'Discharged' a few days after the cargo is unloaded. Call the Genius line for the latest update.

Yes, more than likely still in VPC. I'm also in Baltimore and have the same dates you're showing on W&W. Genius said expected delivery to DC was 30th SEP. Hoping it's a day or two earlier than that!
