Renting an M3/M4?

Hey,

I am off on a trip up country soon with my Dad for his Birthday break for a few days. He loves the new M3/M4's and I would love to surprise him and take him in one. Not really fussed on cost as its more sentimental.

Does anyone know how I can go about renting one of these cars, and where in the south of the UK I could find one?

most dealers will lend you a car for a weekend if you are showing interest in buying it/one. I've had all my cars models for a long weekend before buying them, even though I was going to buy it anyway...

That's a good point. I had an M4 for 48 hours, M5 for 24 hours and an X5 for 10 days before I decided on my current cars (went for M4 and X5) if they think you are serious then they will make it happen.

I don't think I have the balls to go in to a dealer and do this lol, I am happy to pay a cost for the few days, its just trying to get one sorted asap!

I must look like a fish, I barely got a 20 minute test drive from the bimmer garage. The AMG guys seemed more relaxed and flexible

You would probably have more luck renting something like a Lambo or Ferrari. I just dont think many M3/4 rentals would be available as they are not exotic enough and are too mainstream.
