Noisy turbo whistle?

Hearing an abnormally loud turbo whistle on the driver side with windows down. Don't remember hearing it before but I did mess with the stock intake hoping to complete a install of RK but ended putting the stock back on. Check all clamps and everything is snug

Do you think it's a leak or does AsD also include fake turbo whistle

Car drives normal but never heard a stock turbo car be that loud

Interesting but def seems that my turbo sounds are noticeably louder in last couple months - only thing I changed in that timeframe was to put on a vented Exotics Tuning CF hood but having a hard time believing that that could make the sound so much more evident - also did a cursory check for loose clamps etc and all seems AOK (prob need to look closer).

Anyone else notice a change in sound or volume over time (mine is a 7/2015 build and a daily driver)?

I don't hear a whistle, but I do hear a "whooosh". Also, disable ADS for a better quality of life.

Stock or aftermarket intakes on WOT, you should hear a turbo whine.

Stock or aftermarketing intales at low rpms and decelerating with no throttle, you should hear a Turbo Whistle with catless DP.

Sport + gives you the most turbo spooling noise.

Cool Perhaps there is an Echo

The only time I can hear the Turbos is if I am parked up against a wall on the driver's or passenger's side with window's down. and then sometimes I can hear them when I am driving with elevated RPM levels.

When you have heard the sound more elevated, if you were parked against a wall that the sound of the turbo could echo off of, it may be why it sounds louder than you are used to. I am sure it had nothing to do with you going in and actually modifying the car.....right?

If you put anything after market don't take to dealer unless you put the OEM parts back on.

I get more of whining sound coming from the driver side when my RPM is at the range of 2K~3K. (accelerating/decelerating)

Has anyone experience this?

If it is a faint whining sound, that is the sound the turbo makes when the compressor blades spool.
