Good day guys,
Congrats on all of you that have taken delivery. It looks like my car will arrive next week. Very much looking forward to that. Are there any recommendations or tips to break in the car correctly? Thank you

I just drove it like I stole it all over Europe. 7 countries in 7 days, dropped it off for shipping at exactly 2010kms (1249miles).
VCP and schnell325 will agree with me, we did the same last year. All our cars running strong. |

Absolutely. I believe the M engineers were the ones saying to drive it like you normally would. Top speed achieved by almost all M cars last year, 267kph indicated

They said that the most important thing is to not abused your diff with hard launches and drifting. But schnell325 didn't care, left a pair of long skid marks on the private pavement of a 5 star hotel on the swiss alps.

Long consistent drives in 1 gear is not the best. City driving is also not good. Keep shifting through gears, working the motor through revs. Brakes will take up to 500km to bed in well. If you could get out for a 300+ mile highway drive right away your car will thank you. Congrats as well. You are in for a big surprise!

Thank you very much for the advise.
I will definitely want to drive it for 300 miles to brake inn correctly. I did the same with my GT3 and latter with my RS and they both came out well.
