Well look at that. So a single 3.5"(?) pipe from DP's to valve-controlled rear can?

Yep, 3.5 straight or 3.5 through the muffler. Very similar to our M2 exhaust that we have had great success with.

^That looks awesome. That'll really smooth out the gnashing of the twin-pipe S55 setup. I'm way too far into my mix-and-match exhaust setup at this point (including your MP) but would have jumped all over a single 3.5" setup in stainless ( aluminum for a street car...).

Looking forward to reading up on this once released.

It sounds great in open mode and much cleaner than anything else I have heard. Our test car has downpipes as well.

I see what you did there.

Just put on my AA midpipe to stock rear & stock down pipes. I have a tune and intake.

At first I was a little let down. It wasnt as loud as I was anticipating from the videos. The car also felt slower / didnt feel like it was running right at WOT. I installed the tune at the same time, so I dont know if it was one, the other, or both. I personally thought I blew a charge pipe.

After a week, I love the AA midpipe, and all the power came back. I am assuming the car goes through a learning curve, but it learned, and pulls really really hard.

After a week, it has also got a lot louder, and burbles more on deceleration. It burbles even in a parking lot going 10-15 and letting off the gas.

It is similar if you compare the yellow M4 on youtube (right after install), to the other AA only videos.

If I get time I will take a video and post it.

I'm curious if your installer (or you, if it was a DIY) reset the DME adaptations after the install. I have a feeling doing so would catalyze the 'learning curve' you cite.

I have AA midpipe and Eisenmann rear Exhaust and recently at the shop another member had the full AA.

He and I both came to the conclusion that my car was louder though his did sound very nice.

Sorry kind of new to the car game. Can you explain this to me? What are the benefits? Hows the sound change (louder deeper...)? Is the main benefit less restrictive airflow?

Are you talking about a single midpipe section?

Do you have an estimation on release date? And price?

And lastly with this work with a Remus axel back and aftermarket downpipes? (SSR to be specific)

You make it sound as if we only sell AA and i can only make a profit if i sell him this system, which is obviously not true.

I'll say it again, AA offers the cleanest rasp free sound. If customer is looking for an aggressive setup they should not get the AA axle back.

I received nothing but honesty when dealing with Mike, and he was on point with the info provided. I am running AA midpipe with MPE rear and sounds great. The midpipe gets rid the high pitch rasp the MPE has and adds base, but you still keep the tone the MPE provides.

You will see the benefits of our single mid pipe (deeper/ less rasp/ hp) but through the entire system. You get the unrestricted hp gains without the loud and tingy sound most exhausts on the market tend to make. Its also valved so you can go from a stockish tone to a deep tone within seconds.

Our test car has downpipes btw.

No news on release date but when I have it you guys will be the first to know.

There isnt much of a learning curve with our tune as I have tested it on the dyno. My guess would be you have the car in mdm and its cutting much more power than it used to giving the impression the car isnt that fast. I see this alot when test driving with customer. Turn traction off and it lights the tires up without any boost cuts.

So added the AA midpipe. Like everyone else it did its job getting rid of most of the rasp. Still a little there but it's very minimal

What I don't like is the crazy popping and burbles in m2. I do have a zcp and running the stock exhaust. It was cool for a little but it's a little too much and sounds like a gun popping off. My car is a vert and it's been really nice lately so the top is down. Figure I hearing much more than I normally would but figured that's what everyone outside hears

So I'm leaning back to the AA full system understanding it's not on the loud side. Actually what I'm looking for

Does anyone have experience on a zcp going from mid only and then full.

Can you tell me if the full aa is quiter than mid with valves open?

Is the burbles and popping still there and as pronounced

Thanks
