In this 360 degree video experience, Matt and The Smoking Tire's long-lost creative force and cameraman Thaddeus Brown go out on a very wet Nordschliefe with 'Ring Meister Ron Simmons, owner of RSRNurburg, in a BMW M3. Ron, being the kind of person who owns a race car rental outfit at the 'Ring and Spa, treats the M3 as utterly disposable and scares the absolute shit out of Matt, who, as it is well known, does not trust cars, tires, tracks, or other drivers, in the wet.

Had a few laps with Ron over the years in the Alfa 156 rentals of old. Was always entertaining & he swears like a trooper most of the time

Wet laps are very entertaining, especially if you know what you are doing & that he does

The 360 degree view was very unflattering to Matt's physique. It made him look fa...um, bigger than what he is.

The run itself was fun, seeing him squirm and use the door handle as an "oh shit handle" was funny.

In Matt's defense, he probably adds about 180+ lbs of weight to every car... it would make any car feel weird.

The intent is to watch it on a Rift/Vive/Gear VR/whatever. It's really cool there, except:

a) You have to turn fairly frequently to maintain the same perspective.

b) If you turn all the way around, you realize you're sitting in Matt's lap.
