ZCP w MPE on M4
Guys - Is it worth getting the $5k M performance Exhaust with ZCP already?
(don't know the exact pricing of MPE but I think it's around $5000) anyone gotten this combo already? |

Hey!
I have no first hand experience in either (yet?), but from hat I've read in many posts, It is not worth it. The upgraded, "M Sports Exhaust" that comes with the "ZCP" is highly regarded by those who have purchased and received their cars with this package. Albeit, take that with a grain of salt, because most people don't knock what they've just bought. I've seen no independent/subjective comparison of the two. Just owners on either side. So, there you go, I've basically said nothing! Cheers! |

You just asked the price in the other thread and you can easily find your answer on google. However, it costs close $6K including the CF tips. |

I ordered an M4 back in June with the Ultimate Package which includes MPE. I haven't taken delivery yet but the wait is killing me. I can't wait to hear how it sounds in person.

It's a bummer we don't get the ultimate package here in the states. Would've gone that route instead of picking up parts here and there.

Not worth it to me. I like the sound of the sports exhaust more than the MPE. I'm going to spend $500 on tips and paint can.

It can be argued to be worth it if you have non ZCP. But ZCP sounds great as is. I would be hard pressed to say any exhaust worth 5k is "worth it" |

I concur...Worth every penny. I have on my '16 F80 and top favorite things to do is hit the M1 in a tunnel, stomp on the gas to kick in that exhaust note!..Like Monaco F1!

Here's my MY17 M3 ZCP, completely stock.
https://instagram.com/p/BJQDnvyDCJd/ (Please note that I have a mic for the exhaust) I like the sound, only wished it was louder. Will probably do downpipes but that's all.

I agree. "Worth" is different for many people...a Rolex isn't "worth" it when an Apple watch offers so much....whatever....I freaking love my MPE. It's worth it, plus I hate that baggy saggy orangutan ass looking canister of the stock exhaust, it looks horrible, yuck.
