Has to be kidding and wouldn't qualify anyway since question is "How old were you when you bought your first M?"

I wish I was but I'm not kidding. That's how it happened. My Dad and I play pranks on each other all the time, and he knew this was one id done before, so no need to play hardball.

So make up your mind about whatever bullshit story you want to tell.

That's exactly what I said, and that's exactly what I said. If you read correctly (I'll give you a moment to grab your Wal-Mart reading glasses) I said (ahem) 'ACCORDING TO THE BMW DEALER, I BOUGHT IT'. I obviously explicitly noted that my DAD gave me the cash. Wait I'm sorry, you must be old. Would you like me to draw some hieroglyphics so you can entertain yourself while you poo out you soup?

I'm turning 30 in January and wanted to buy myself a birthday present - in no way is this a midlife crisis deal. I just really love the bodystyle of the current M3s and have always wanted to own/drive one. I work hard for my money and am not a trust fund baby.

Looking to gather some insight across the forum on the age range everyone purchased their first M3. Was it too early/late? If you bought one early on in life, if you had the chance to do it again, would you have waited? Thanks in advance you beautiful people.
I turn 30 in July and I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to get my M3! We're in the same boat haha, enjoy nice cars while you're young man!

35. They day I was financially secure where could afford to own an M car and not worry about paying my bills if the car need repairs.

2012, 35 and purchased a used 2011 E90 only cause they stopped making E90's when I took the plunge

00 E39 M5 (new) 35
08 E92 M3 (new) 43

the 90's were really good for business
then kids off to school & university put the bite on disposable income..
