BMW dealer techs have no reason to remove that boot unless they were replacing spark plugs, ignition coils, or the rubber boot itself, so I'd point the finger at whoever installed OPs aftermarket charge pipes from 2-3 weeks ago.

Plugs were replaced under warranty at the dealer recently.
There is a bulletin to replace all plugs if there is intermittent misfire.
Occurred months back prior to this event.

Yeah, that track day was one I'll never forget.. that's for sure. Looking forward to seeing the new paint job and built motor! Watching the OPs video gave me flashbacks, I'll never look at that section of track the same again!
