Did my break-in service two weeks ago and promptly headed to Nuburgring.
There was a whole lot of cars there so lots of traffic but the car drove very smooth. It is not as engaging as my previous car (E92 M3) but it felt very fast and planted (suspension mode: Sport). I can't wait to go to Spa or Hockenheim where there is a little more order on the track.

Nice one. Car looks great. Is that SO? Or some individual red? If SO, crazy how the color shows different from photo to photo. Looks great!
Why do you say it was not as engaging as E92? Care to elaborate? Thanks.

I guess I would say F8X feel a little more isolated on the track. It could be due to the fact that the car is so planted and the seats keep you in almost a sucked in position. In E92 I felt more body roll and I was moving a bit more inside the cabin. After a lap in F8X I felt adrenaline but also relaxed and composed, in E92 I felt adrenaline but I also felt fired up and a bit tired. Bottom line I enjoy both cars much more than RS5 or C63. I hope this all makes sense. |
