Mine does but the tilt function of the seat solves that for me.

Right! I forgot you can use the same sliders and adjustments as the OEM seats, right? Problem solved! (I have the wonky GT3 seat stuck in my head)

Tilt is important to me for seating position and helmet clearance.

I just did my fit-up
The factory M4 GTS sliders bolt in. I have lots of helmet clearance when belted-in w/the HANS in place. I'm 5'11" and have long legs, just as a point of info |

Is that an M2? Pat has one of those, too! I think he's putting his OEM seats from the GTS into the M2 when he puts the CF buckets in the GTS. Or, he might just sell his M2 or trade it in on a tow vehicle. The guy's a mess!

My sentiments were similar after I sat in one. Gave me a case of seat envy rather quickly.

I have the Recaro pole position in my '83 much modified 911 ( track car) and the Porsche factory version in my 987 Spyder ( autox and travel car) and can't say enough about the support and comfort. My wife and I are both well into our 70's and we have traveled all over the US in the Spyder with the bucket seats ... now getting in and out is fun to watch as the cars are low but I would not expect the same issue in the M2. I dis have a custom cushion made for my wife to lesson the bolster rise. bottom line great seats and looking forward ot putting them in the M2 even though I will likely not track it.

Went for a two hour drive yesterday and the seats are very comfortable. I had a spacer on the drivers seat to get a bit of recline for comfort and better helmet clearance. It matches the Fall Line Fire Ext mount on the pass side which tilts about the same amount |

So to understand clearly.. with the OEM Euro CF seats... they can be mounted in the same frame as the current US Spec seats and retain the tilt and seat rise/low option? If that is so... I'm sold on this upgrade.

I track my GTS. I installed my OEM Euro CF seats over a year ago (per Turner Motorsports recommendation). I had iND Distributions-Lake Zurich, Illinois install the seats. iND did have to change out the mounts. The guys at iND did an absolute fabulous job! Top notch. Love the seats, would do it again without a second thought. Great seats if you're going t/b on the track.

Quick question regarding coding, can this be done via Bimmercode in Expert mode? Or does it require something more in depth, if Bimmercodeable anyone know where to do this? TIA
