It's back, just got approval for 0.9%

2.97% was robbery

A really nice alternative to the crappy 60% residual 36/10k lease for the F80. I hope the program runs for a few more months.

I think it will be around for awhile. Don't think 2.97% went over too well.

Wow! In the midst of negotiating M3 ED 10k/36mo with come CAs. Wondering how you were able to get that rate? thanks!

I'm guessing it lasts 1 month. Lock it in while it's good.

Got .9 on my 16 a few months ago. So nice. 2k total interest over 5 years on an 82k MSRP car.

Well the 0.9% is only applicable to finance purchases. Since you mention 10k/36mo you sound like you are leaseing. Your APR will be 3.288% if you get the base MF of .00137.

At such a low rate, it's pointless putting any money down except maybe $1000 to appease the bank.

I ran an amortization schedule and the most interest I would pay on a $70k loan would be $50 the first month as it decreases from there each subsequent month. It's almost laughable.

Same here. I think it was March or April and lasted for 1 month. I got in on the last day before it went back up to 2.9 at the time. Almost free money.

Yep I only paid state taxes and dealer fees up front. I then financed the negotiated price ($500 over) of the vehicle at .9.

Got my approval last night. My dealer has an October (unsure on the week) allocation and said they pushed the approval window to 11/31. I'll be pushing it for sure, but my order is going in today.

Sorry, this may be a stupid question, but if you were planning on keeping this car for a long period of time, can you extend the 0.9% interest rate over a longer loan period past 5 years...perhaps a 72 or 84 month loan?

It is on the website, I think you can go 72 months.

No sure... if you're considering pulling the trigger on one in the next 60 (90 days for the west coast), go ahead and submit an application to BMWFS to get locked in.

Cheers,

East coast dealers can only lock in for 60 days. West coast for 90.

And the fact that if you order in December you'll have a January build date and won't receive the car until some time in February, most likely. So any rates now through November will probably be worthless to you.

You can't secure financing before you actually place an order...

This program runs until 9/5 but its possible that it could continue. If you lock in you are advertised 60 days east coast 90 days west coast but in reality you go out to the end of the expiring month.

For example...you lock in September 3rd you are technically locked until November 3rd when in reality you are locked in BMWs system until November 30th and for the west coast you'd be locked until December 31st.
