Anyone know if those of us who can't take delivery with a car in the states can still register it?
My insurance company is going to cancel me within 21 days of my contract being signed if the dealer doesn't register the car. |

I was considering doing CQuartz over a XPEL. How did you come to decide on ceramic pro? Did you consider other coatings?

our cars were built on about the same schedule. Do you know whether yours has the rear differential problem? I don't have an answer yet, though I suspect it will.

Will BMW email us if our car needs the work done or do we have to keep checking?

For now, I'd just drive it 'til the wheels fall off.

The guy I trust to do my detail recommended it, so I went with it. I decided against XPEL because I think BMW does a fine job with paint and don't think it's necessary for my Silverstone. Also, if I was going to do XPEL, I'd want the entire car done, and seems to me I'm better off just dealing with dings if and when they come up if they really bother me. If my car was black (like my last jerez black M3), I'd probably do it because the imperfections are so obvious in those dark colors. Anyhow, here are a few pics with my ceramic pro applied:

Mine's been stuck there since 7/10. Work order for the diff was opened on 7/22, but there's no estimate on when it actually may be fixed.
