Congrats!
The best price I'm finding online is $300 CDN. That's a bit more than I wanted to spend for one nite.
For a short trip I'd go to Zell am See. It's not too far, beautiful and at the base of the Grossglockner high Alpine road.

I booked it through the BMW ED discount and got it for $130/night USD if I recall correctly. We were pleasantly surprised by how cheap it was. When are you going? Is it during Oktoberfest? That may explain the high price.

OO yeah that is right, I forgot! I usually use hotels.com as it has some really good prices.

We're thinking about doing a drive through the Alps, Furka, Grimsel, and Sustenpass.

How is the weather there during the 2nd week of October? Will i be fine with the Michelin tires that come with the car?

That looks pretty good, thanks. Was a bit worried after checking the temperatures and seeing around 5 degrees Celcius in the mountains.

It was actually pretty toasty while we were up there (relatively). Here's another one at the top:

And here's a shot of a helicopter coming in and you can see the melt water in the background forming an ad hoc waterfall.

FYI Scout, Looks like Sustenpass area is showing chances of snow and negative temperatures (degrees C) next week.
