Where do you live?

Genius on Friday said it was supposed to be on a truck on Sunday, eta to dealer Wednesday. Called today and as far as they could tell, wasn't updated to show it on a carrier. We'll see.

Carrier delay....was hoping to take delivery on Saturday but they still need to install some CF parts once it gets to the dealer so we're cutting it close.

I suspect my port installed options are part of my delay. Frustrating after ordering in early June. I understand waiting for color, but now that it's here, I feel like they should prioritize it to some degree.

Odd because I still haven't left port to the dealer and I didn't have any port installed options. Wonder if there is a larger delay going on.

hope it doesn't sit for 2-3 weeks like my 435 did
couldn't understand why my dealer couldn't get it on a truck sooner

genius said possible delivery to me this weekend; CA says 3-5 days
hope he's being conservative
otherwise, I probably won't be able to get it til next Friday

Great news!!

I'm gonna call Genius in morning to see if car is at dealer; I really want to get it Saturday. Talked to a local shop about Xpel and Cquartz, but it takes 3 days; can't decide if I should tell dealer not to wash. No way am I giving car up for 3 days/weekend. Supposed to be 80 Saturday. I remember when I got my first BMW, a '00 323 'vert, it was April, but 90 degrees. I've really moved up the power chain.

any early mods/protectant planned?

I'm also gonna get some coding; I really want antidazzle LED's.
eventually I'm gonna order smart top so I can put top up/down up to 25 mph.

I'm planning on taking delivery NEXT Saturday since the car won't get there for another day or two and I have to drive out of town to pick it up, won't be able to do it on a weekday.

Planning on ceramic coatings and likely paint correction/orange peel removal.

First mod will be winter wheels/tires, LOL.

Just realized that I've "dreamed"/anticipated/looked forward to this day for 12 years. Didn't really like SMG E46; never really thought about E93 M3--not sure why. Hopefully patience pays off.

Was reading about the Hex tune--sounds very intriguing. Hope to find out more about it at Chicago Fall M-Vade in mid October

My M3 was built 9/14 and is waiting at the port in Germany for a ship. How long did you all have to wait for a ship?

I got lucky this time. Car got to port 8/19 and on ship 8/23
Tugela only made 2 stops in Europe.
my 435 on Titania made more (4 I think) before heading across the pond.

heard it was supposed to leave Baltimore VPC 9/10, but delayed til 9/13
