Agreed ... I bought my MP spoiler from jrah on this forum so second-hand but perfect weave/fit.

Ps my insurance company (DirectLine) don't want any more money from me for my 4 add-ons (black kidney and side grills, spoiler and diffuser) which is good news. Probably means the value of them isn't added in when they price a 'total loss' but that is fine by me ... given I've been bargain hunting anyway

I've just bought the MP diffuser, looking at those pictures I've been had!

You can at least sleep easy in your bed knowing no children were harmed during production of yours, probably.

That's true, no matter whether it's expensive or cheap, someone is always paying somewhere/somehow in the supply chain, with the MP one it's me!

That's quite a saving over the genuine diffuser! Good to see some pics and get feedback, going to place an order. Will report back.

I did some very geeky checking of pictures and I do think the MP one has a tighter and more even weave ... whether that's worth 4x the price I dunno but if I were you I could quite easily decide to believe that the MP one was sufficiently better

I'm on holiday at the moment in France and some D$%k on a motorbike just ran into the back of my car breaking and splitting my OEM carbon rear diffuser. Luckily that was all the damage that was done. This looks like a tempting replacement rather that the £1000+ for the OEM one

Oh god I'd be livid, the OEM one is around £550 not £1000+

The RRP is pretty irrelevant is it not? What you actually pay is in my view.

Anyone know if the rear changed from 2017 to 2018? Their fitment guide only goes to 2016, but looks like a few of you that have it have '17s. Might order one since they ship to US. $300

Does the boot comfort access still work with this copy diffuser?

Is the fit pretty good? I don’t fancy spending £600 on the BMW one.

I'd still recommend the one I posted at the start of the thread if it still works. More than 12 months on and looking as good as day one.
