Is that roughly 235wtq I'm seeing out of the E92? Wish he would have said what it made.

Nice! I noticed that Motortrend is currently doing their Best Driver's Car competition from their instagram. I'm eager to see how the M3 stacks up! And what Randy Pobst has to say!

Wow, another "heartbreaker" dyno for the e90 m3.

Their plot is showing ~379whp for the f80 vs. about ~305-310whp for the e90 m3.

I really don't understand the LEVEL of difference we are seeing here on multiple back to back dynos....

There is going to be some tough competition. Some track worthy cars were released this year.

It's the same dyno from that other thread, which I can't seem to find right now. Was it deleted?

Seems like the evidence just keep piling up that BMW severely underrated the S55 and that it gives ~70 hp more than the S65 instead of 10. This is how it should be, to give up all the goodness with an epic NA engine like the S65 for a hair blower they need to give more than TQ and 10 hp, especially to keep coming competition behind.

Yes indeed. Just off the top of my head: Jag Ftype R, 911 Turbo S, Camaro Z28, Nismo R...not sure they'll have the Huracan. Hopefully it's being done at Laguna so we can compare to times from previous years. But remember MTBDC isn't about having the fastest lap time.

I'm having some problems believing some of the numbers, but I think the area under the curve is consistently the "OMG" zone.

I did though I have no recent e9x m3 driving time.

My point is I'm having difficulty believing it produces ~60+ more whp than an s65. I do not doubt it is alot faster given the UAC.

I've driven the e90/e92 m3 extensively and now I own an M4 and it feels worlds faster so it doesn't surprise me to see that difference in dyno numbers.

Was hoping they would have a GT3, since it wasn't in last years competition.

I just youtubed this. I should have known to come here first. Anyways, good video I always enjoy the Carlos Lago reviews. I watched the M video then re-watched their 911 S Cabriolet video and the numbers were quite close.

M: 0-60 3.9 secs and 1/4 Mile in 12.2 secs at 117.3mph.
911 S Cabrio: 0-6 3.8 secs and 1/4 Mile in 12.1 secs at 116mph.

The M is a lot of car for the money that's for sure.
