had F80 M3 and now F83 M4 vert and both driven in winters on winter tires and both performed awesome.

The stability and balance on these cars are amazing for winter, I run the Mich Pilot Alpin Sport PA4 tires. I'm also a daily driver.

The only limitation is deep snow, when the snow gets too deep the cars bottom sits on it and you lose traction to the wheels.

I drive mine in the snow and iced roads often this winter--great grip with good winter tires. I always have a set of snow chains in the back of my car just in case I really get into something bad--but I doubt it.
