Talk about underrating your HP BMW. If the upcoming M2 is anything like this monster, then BMW might state the M2 has 375HP but it might end up being 400 horses at the crank.
I'm very impressed with the power of this car but the weight not so much. That's basically 3600 lbs and that's no light weight. Oh well here's hoping the M2 will be close to 3350lbs. I know I can dream and hope

Simply because chassis roller dynos are not precise measurement devices. Testing methodology and installation variability cause significant variances in measured results

wasn't didn't they dyno it to have 465HP AND 425lbs of torque
Curious about this dyno. Didn't they just dyno it to have 465hp and 425lbs of torque. If so whats different with this dyno? therefore it is less impressive because they have got more

2 reasons. A ) loss of traction on the dyno (unlikely IMO). B) small timing correction , possibly as result of 91 octane. Data logging with timing would show if this was the issue

Yep. Very impressive. They Dynojet usually comes in a bit higher then other Dynos but this is very impressive nonetheless.
I'd say on a mustang dyno it puts down 410-415rwhp. And that's still insanely underrated from BMW. Very happy reading this.

Awesome work from BMW once again. Hopefully this puts to rest the E9x owners who insist their car is as fast as the F8x models.

Holy shit. There is way too much bickering going on about dyno numbers. Even if this is a slightly high reading dyno numbers are higher than expected. Not just this one, but others that we have seen as well.

Yes, when tuning starts. We'd like to post results from the same session, conditions, etc. to limit any variables.
