Can't decide - Mineral gray or Silverstone?
Both have Comp packages, DCT, Exec and LED packages with SO interior.
The Mineral Gray does have the carbon front aero kit. What do you guys think? |

Silverstone. So dynamic and always looks great. Always. Day, night, winter, summer dirty, clean. Looks like liquid metal.

I've owned both and as much as I love the MG, I don't miss the maintenance that came with it. Silverstone is amazing and super easy to maintain.

I guess I can always add the aero CF bits later if I want to.
I am curious if my dealer will refund me my deposit. We have not finalized the financing yet. |

People are going to tell you the decision they have already made (assuming they own or considered MG or SS). You can't go wrong with either. Myself, all my cars (except the SUV, which must be white for ease of maintenance!) are gray, so there you go.

I had an e90 SSII and at first I didn't "love" it but after 5 years I never regretted it once. So unique and got many complements. I bought an AW 17 comp on the last day of 2016 so I got a great deal and little regret. I do have to say if I had the opportunity to get the SSII instead of the AW I would in a nanosecond.
The SSII would always subtlety change from a blue to a silver. Sunny day, it was silver, snowy or overcast, boom that blue just shines. I also believe the SSII highlights the lines and angles of the car better than any color.

My top choice was frozen brilliant white but it didn't happen, mostly because of the wait... the Alpine White was on the lot... MG was another top contender but again, went with AW mostly because it had all the check boxes I wanted, specifically 6mt...
I was never a fan of silver stone - until I saw it in the wild... Seriously grew on me and I dig it a lot... and looks fantastic with carbon fiber bits... A good friend has a F82 in black and you can't see shit... exhaust pipes at night blend / disappear into the blackness, as do the carbon fiber roof etc... I imagine it would be almost the same with MG... |

Both are great. I would also agree with most who said they would pick SilverStoneII. MG is great but is a dark color and I think there are way more of those on the street than SSII. If I did't go individual myself I would have probably ordered it.

Silverstone ll with full SO guts inside, all day
any day!!! Why? Bc 1. Its a M color not a damn 3series MG 2. Shows off the sexy lines of the car so well! Has character as it changes color like a chameleon under different lighting 3. Very easy to clean & maintain I'll leave this here for you, hope this helps your decision |

I have MG so my comment means nothing but how can you look at that picture and not want MG!

I have MG, and would choose it again. The pics of SS look really nice, but with SO interior I have to vote MG.
Cheers

Where do you live? I have MG and it's a beautiful color. However, here in the Pacific NW where it's drab and overcast 9 months of the year, the color can get a little "bland" and starts to just absorb into the overall gloom. If you're in a sunnier climate, I think it would be really sharp

Coming from someone who has SS2... Go with MG!
Why?! Cuz im selfish! I want to keep SS2 owners at low count... so It stays somewhat rare in comparison to every other color out there. LoL.

I faced the same choice and went Silverstone with SO interior. It really is stunning in any light. To me, the color seems a more sophisticated and special. MG has a dark sinister appeal that I can also appreciate.
