Anyone confirm F8X's at Calgary dealers?
Anyone been to either dealership to confirm if they have any on the floor yet and whether they are letting folks take them out (as we've seen in other parts of the country)?

There is a M3 sedan (white) showing on BMW Gallery website (this could also be down at the south store not sure). Not sure if it is available for test drive.

See that now. Website has been slow/problematic for the last couple of days. Thanks!

Of course, as models start to arrive....and test drives happen (I am already getting calls from BMW Canada looking to set one up) 'plans' and 'self control' and being 'good' can go out the window pretty damn fast and be replaced with 'how quickly can I get this in my driveway?' (spending slow moments at work browsing this forum doesn't help keep the building pressure to buy one of these at bay......) That sounds like it will be a good looking car. Am thinking of YMB or Azurite Blue with the SS interior OR SS with one of the individual browns for an interior. (being indecisive on colour also helps keep the pressure down....) |

I wanted something that is unique to the M4 (color wise) so SO it is. But I would've loved to have a nice blue like San Marino. If you go individual that would be so awesome especially with the brown interior.

But, yeah, SO will be unique - particularly in a 'square' town like Calgary and according to sirloin's informal poll, SS is also pretty rare for an exterior colour. I do really like that SS leather. What colour trim did you get? |

Sakhir Orange M4 at BMW Gallery. A little dirty, but still looked good
Exhaust note was good in Sport+ mode. It's very quiet in comfort mode. I took video of it in Sport+ mode. Ignore the background noise. I was in the underground parkade where they clean the cars and thats what you are hearing. |

Looking good....but didn't anyone warn you about posting sound clips here? They have a way of bringing out trolls to dump on them....
(I think I can hold off the test drives until the MTs start showing up. At that point, je suis Le putty.) |
