Do the front tires still have as much of a stretched sidewall as the factory PSS? Rumor has it the front star spec BMW PSS is over a half an inch narrower than the non star spec.

any chance you have a pic of the fronts mounted on the wheels? Should be easy to tell.

I just installed PS4S as replacement for my PSS. The sidewalls are not as stretched on the front and rear compared to the PSS that come on the stock ZCP.

I've only driven 10 miles on the tires so I cannot comment on performance.

I managed to get 20K out of my PSS.

Probably going to pull the trigger on a set this week, stock sizes. $1300 OTD mounting, balance and alignment. I'm kinda nervous about these lasting till lease end 6/2019. I got over 18000k out of the stock conti's and would be pretty unhappy if they didn't last till end of lease. I'm a pretty moderate driver I guess. I feel like I enjoy the car but I guess not as much as others.

PS4 are a step ahead of pss in every measurable aspect. I love them. So much less road noise and no compromise in grip. Luv them

Hello everyone,

I recently installed 2 new rear Michelin 4s on my 16' M4. Same size as stock 19". The front tires are the original Michelin SS.
I notice that the traction control is a lot more sensitive when I go fast through corners now and it is VERY annoying. I put maybe 6-700 miles on them so far.

What would cause this, please help??

I just ordered and paid for the PS4's, stock sizes, for my '16 M4 Convertible. 275/35/ZR19, 255/35/ZR19. Hated the Conti's that have been on it since new. Always used PS's on my M3 before. I'm hoping these grab the road much better that the Conti's unsuccessfully tried to.

I'm in exactly the same situation, TC comes on a LOT more now but its generally not when I'm cornering but going in a straight line, and while the TC flashes there doesn't seem to be any cutting of power. Feels a bit strange.

Guys: I know Michelin gets a lot of love here. I was in same boat for 2 decades.

Yet, the new Conti ECS are a great option for this class of tire. No loss of traction under virtually all conditions--standing start, upshifting, etc. Corners and extreme braking are just as impressive. I've got months on these tires and a couple full track days.

265/285/35 on 19" wheels (9.5 and 10.5 width) with stock motor and MP coilovers OEM settings. Its a real performer for the category tire. It's time to rethink the Michelin stranglehold.

Here's my review:

Good luck with your tire choice.

They are listed as - 295/35/19 - MB01... They are the stock tires for '18 e63s...

But yes, they're out there, currently running 295/35 rears and 275/35 fronts...
