Vorsteiner Style Parts

Anyone know a good website where we can order Vorsteiner Style parts for our cars?

Not trying to spend thousands on Dollars on lip, spoilers etc... When i can find them for a fraction of the cost and look identical.

I see a couple of posts on Ebay, but they are like $50-$200 for a Vorsteiner Style front lip.... Kind of scaring me.

All help will be fantastic.

Ebay

When buying replicas, there is always the risk of bad fitment or quality

The Fitment for the parts looked pretty good - according to the reviews / comments. My only concern is that it cost $109.... And there is a similar post with an identical style going for $700... So i have no clue what im looking at.

Check the local bmw shops. you can usually find reps there and they usually make sure the fitment is good.

In my experience the risk of bad fitment is pretty high on brand name CF parts as well. I am talking through 10 years of experience buying Aftermarket CF parts. Just got tired of sending them back. Nothing like OEM.

If something usually cost 1k and you find a similar branded item for 1/2 or less you have to understand there is a distinct possibility it will be very low quality and fit may be poor. You are trading cost for risk.

I just bought a CF spoiler from a well known company on this forum. They make beautiful parts and take amazing photos so i didn't question the purchase until it came in the mail.

It didn't line up and the quality was god awful. Uneven/yellowing clear, chips on the edges. The carbon fiber didn't even line up to meet the edges of the spoiler. Needless to say ill never purchase from the company again given the customer service response. Maybe i got a bad egg who knows.

The problem is you never know what you are going to get even with reputable companies. God knows what you'll get with a knockoff.

on second thought screw the knockoff companies. Trying to make money off someone else's design and hard work -- low

Yea i agree with almost everyone on this thread. You are 100% Trading Quality for a Lower price.

However, Knowing that the CF lip is 1 pot hole away from shattering makes me lean towards the knock off.

Just wanted to know if anyone here has any cool links to any nice CF Knockoff pieces. Hopefully someone will link something and we can all benefit from it.

Check out cnautofans.com

I have purchased stuff from them for my C63 AMG, E92 M3 and probably for this M3 when the time comes. Their prices are decent and the fitment is as close to OEM as possible. In fact, most these companies buy from them and mark up like crazy when in North America and sell the products as their own.

Well I can only speak to the actual products, which like I said I didn't really have any issues with in the past.
