Nice photos! I was alive back then, and all our pictures were taken with a Kodak "Brownie" camera, a square "box" design that I believe used "620" film. There was Kodachrome color film available, though. What part of Austin are you in? I used to live there and in Round Rock before moving to NC.

Roll-up windows with "vent wings" and column-shifters. Bench seats and radios with vacuum tubes. 6-volt electrical systems and generators. Distributors with points and condensers. And carburetors. Ah...the days when men were iron and steering wheels were wood.
