I think the birds in my neighborhood are pooping nuclear waste. Was wiping down the car and noticed a spot on my rear bumper near the trunk lid. Tried to wipe it but noticed the clear coat had rotted away. Only had the car for two weeks and have been super anal about wiping bird poop right away. I heard Bmw paint sucks and is super thin but this is kinda silly. I can't even imagine how guys with the frozen matte paint stay sane without a clear coat. What's the procedure to fix this?

I don't work for these guys, but I actually love all of CarPro's products
carpro-us.com.

Their product Spotless is designed to get our water spots, but I've found it useful to get out seemingly deeper blemishes in this same "family". It worked particularly well for a bunch of spots that I think were etched in from a trickling stream of water that was percolating through concrete above where my car sat in a parking garage. Initial attempts to get these off with usual things were not successful, but Spotless did the trick rather miraculously. I suspect it may work similarly for bird bombs. If your car happens to be coated, this will play friendly with those too (same people that make Cquartz). I did mine with just a microfiber (no polishing pad).
