Can anyone confirm? I actually tested the M235i just to see how it felt and it was a very nice handling/sounding car. Unfortunately it was about 10 degrees that day so I didn't really want to get on it hard as it was just delivered to the dealer and wasn't warmed up. The first picture is the M3 second the M235i |

In addition to the difference in thickness, the M logo on the bottom of the wheel is different.
On M sport models, its the M sticker. On real M cars the badge is enamel. |

In my opinion, there is absolutely no difference in thickness between the two steering wheels. I drove the new M6 once and then hopped right back into my old F30. The only differences I noticed between the two steering wheels are as follows: 1) The center spoke between the horn/airbag and the bottom of the steering wheel on the non-M Sport wheel is "empty" and 2) The non-M Sport steering wheel has the M-tricolor stitching. Aside from that, the steering wheels felt/appeared identical to me.
