New M3 Pic with no camo?
I've been totally out of the loop as to the release of photos for the new M models, but from a quick search I could only seem to find pics that show the car with the camo still on. I believe I spotted an M3 this afternoon, I am in Central florida and the car was the last in line on a truck that pulled into the large car auction facility in Winter Garden, FL. I apologize for the horrific pics as this was taken with my phone and I was trying not to rear end the truck when I realized what I was looking at. The logo on the back of the car definitely said M3, even though you can't see it in the pics. It had a black roof, and very large black/gunmetal wheels. I didn't get a good look at the front, but as I passed the truck when it turned the front seemed to look similar to the Msport models of the 3 series. The exhaust and the wheels are what stood out to me though. Sorry if this is old news.

^^I know, I know the rules that if you don't post a pic or post crappy pics, then everyone calls BS, but this wasn't BS! After scouring the internet for the last hour trying to find other pictures of M3 with no Camo, I am now severely p!$$ed at myself for not following the truck right into the auction lot and getting more pictures. The car without a doubt said M3 on it, and from the pictures you can at least tell that it's no ordinary exhaust on the back of the car. I'm going to stop into the auction place tomorrow after work and see if I can spot the car, they often have large weekend events at this place and it wouldn't surprise me if the car was making an appearance.

It said M3 though, and the exhaust was definitely not the 335i either, that has two single pipes, this was double pipes on each side. I realize those things can be mods, but along with the black roof and wheels, the recent sightings with Camo in the states, I am convinced this was an M3.
To put the picture into context, this is what I am trying to crop from If I'm right, I have a feeling many of these will start popping up soon. If nothing else, that's what I am taking away from this. |

The back bumper looks like a non-Msport back.
I hope we have a back bumper with some sort of definition like the E90M or at the very least F30Ms. And I hope there actually is a diffusor.. |

Why on earth would they put it on a truck carrying an assortment of used cars?
And going to an Auto Auction to reveal it? Not at all like BMWs style. Hope you find it tomorrow and clear this up. |

I certainly can't say that isn't possible....but again, the black roof sort of makes me think that is one heck of a mod. I agree I don't know why the heck it would be pulling into where it did, but its what I saw. It did have a side scoop, and I think it had a hood bump, but I wasn't confident enough in what I saw from the side to say that in the original post. I tried to take a side picture as I passed it when the truck turned right, but I was merging into traffic and almost getting into a wreck so I didn't get the picture

Lol, you're right and I think you can even see the red color through some of the black and the other M3 bits is fuzzier with a more washed out color. Fake it is and a pretty bad one.

Wow. I feel sorry for those of you who think the picture is fake. It's one thing to think this is a modded 335 or something, but jeez. You are looking at a 100% crop of an iPhone 5 photo that was taken in a moving car through a windshield, and you think its fake. Here is the full size photo of the darker of the two pictures. Nothing about the picture is fake or modified. If you don't believe me then great, believe what you want.

My iPhone5 is fine, the first two pics are 100% crops that I took from a moving car at 45 mph with one hand shaking around, a bright sky background and reflections on the windshield of my dirty car...what kind of quality do you expect?
Anyways, I drove back into the auction place this morning on the way to work, nobody was there because it was too early, but I did not see the car anywhere. I drove around for about 5 minutes looking as this is a large place. There was a new M5 though (black one). I understand the skepticism perfectly and don't expect anyone to believe with confidence that some stranger online saw a legitimate M3 in the wild if it hasn't been revealed and based on the limited evidence provided, but rest assured that I'm not a forum troll, those are undoctored pics of what I saw, and the details I am describing are not being exaggerated. I am not even that interested in the M3/M4's as I will be trading my 335 for a 435, but I thought I'd pass along what I saw to anyone who may be interested. Regards |

Thanks for posting anyway, it's such a weird mix of where the car is, the strange badge ( looks too big ), the black roof ( is it a cover maybe to protect from debris or oil from above ), the narrow wheels, lack of side skirts and moderate fender flares and the quad pipes. Sorry but it seems like either fake pictures or a fake M3, don't take it personally but there are so many photoshops that looks better than this "real world" sighting so it's difficult to not be suspicious.
