no, not the 800 number. I called that today and it still said it was waiting for a ship. There must be a lag. Call the GENIUS number 1-844-443-6487. Wait for a person to answer and just give them your production number...

thanks, had no idea. just called them. i'm on the horizon highway with expected arrival to GA on 3/2. now to track to the boat

go here for your updates from the company itself. BMW genius won't update it that often. I know because i just went through it with the orion highway. as of today, yours is expected in brunswick on 3/6.

Spoke with my CA (im in NJ) and she said there was a bit of the a delay at the VPC and car should get to dealership Monday/Tuesday

Thanks for asking. Mine landed in Baltimore last Wednesday (1/16) I think. I'm in Illinois, so figuring a few days of processing and transit so maybe later this week or early next before it hits dealer. Forgot about weather though (been 70 here!) so might be end of month. Good luck to you.

One Nov day 5pm - walked into dealer and said to new to me CA 'order this'. - F82 loaded w/comp Ind colors
Nov next day 11am- 5 minutes. text#1-offer, #2-counter, #3-deal, #4-deal, #5-ordered.
Dec 01- 111 order accepted
Feb 6 2017- In production
Feb 16- Completed / in inspection
Feb 17- released to the ship carrier for assignment
*Update*
Feb 20- 193 – Arrived at the Port of Exit

Looks like I just missed the boat (Canadian Hwy) So Im guessing Im on the next boat out.

I'm on the Canadian Highway, which is supposed to eventually dock at Galveston, Texas. I assume this is because it's relatively close to my dealership. I wonder if they assign vehicles to ships based on their destination port and where the dealerships are located??

I spoke to BMW Genius a few minutes ago. They told me I was through VPC and set to be delivered to the dealer by tomorrow, although my dealer is in Morristown so not very far from the port.

I was told yesterday, by my CA, feb 24th. I'm still hoping to get my car tomorrow. Smithf80 got his car within a day. I believe his boat was in NY on the 12th and on the 13th his car was already at his dealer.

Debating whether I should push off the pickup date until March 1st. I have no concept if rates will be any better historically in March vs Jan/Feb. My gut tells me with the stop in production on M3's for North America, there really isn't ny incentive to do anything for M3 buyers...
