If we are discussing of 10k miles per year lease, for 36 months lease, do i expect to get 35000 miles of allowance? i saw the dealer's paper work shown i only get 30k miles. is that right?

A 10k/36mo lease is a total of 30,000 miles. 36 months is 3 years, and it's 10,000 miles per year.

I was offered 2k below invoice on 2017 m4. Thinking about leasing. Other than confirming mf of 000134 and 61 residual anything else I should be asking? I have only leased one car before and knew nothing. Trying to avoid a mistake. Thanks.

Sounds like an unbelievable deal. I would take it. Only other thing is making sure it's that price before any available incentives.

The former will result in multiple delays that will stretch for months, of not years, so definitely walk away. The latter would be an unusually good deal, so double check your math to confirm that the offer id $2K below (not above) invoice. If it checks out, then get all fees documented in writing (can easily blossom into thousands). Then grab it. a

Let me know what you guys think:
2017 M3 - MSRP 74,295.00, selling price = $2,500 off MSRP Residual - 62% MF - 0.0137 36 months / 10K miles $4,000 total drive off and $955 month including tax |

Not a great discount and the MF is slightly marked up. Certainly can do better if you shop around but there's also not a lot of M3 inventory or many allocations available.

Please let me know what you guys think of the following quote:
MSRP: $70,645 Sales Price: $65,000 Residual: 62% MF: 0.00134 Downpayment: 0 Fees: $2160.26 ($925 Acquisition Fee, DMV $304.50, NJ Tire Fee $6.00, Documentation Fee $599.75, NJ luxury tax $261.42, Upfront tax $63.59) 36 month lease/10K per year. The quoted monthly payment if I pay all the taxes upfront is $735 and is ~$785 if I do not pay the taxes. Leaning towards paying tax and all fees upfront (which by my estimate saves me around $350). Specifically, trying to determine if the sales price is good. It seems reasonable, but want to see if there is room to push so more. Thanks in advance for the feedback. |

Really trying to lease a 2017 M3 although I really don't want a payment in the $800's.. Ive seen people on here in the classifieds section offering a few in the $700's and even a couple in the $600's. Aside from putting down an absurd amount, which they claim they haven't, how did they get their payments so low? I know the rates fluctuate but is there a better time of year to try and make a deal? Also, my current 535 lease is up May 31st, what's the soonest I could honest have a dealer pull me out of my current lease? I am WELL below my milage although Ive been told that doesn't do me any good... I just came across a YMB with Comp and Executive package, 6 speed(which I want) and carbon fiber front and rear diffusers for $78,835. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Thats how people get those deals. On a car with an MSRP of 78.8k, invoice is going to be around 73.2k... and M3s dont usually go for invoice. Even if you got it for invoice, and base money factor (.00134), and paid CA doc fee of 80, registration, and lease acquisition, your payment would be 906 on that car. Remember, thats IF you got it at invoice with no incentives. I dont know if there are any incentives on M3s right now. If you did 7 MSDs on this deal and started from base money factor, the monthly would be around 841. if you also have a corporate discount (which gets you 1500 rebate, and also .00020 money factor reduction), your monthly would be 769. This is all in california, and assuming you got invoice price and no money factor markup which isnt happening on an M3 without a GREAT relationship with the dealership and a special circumstance. Every 1k on the lease adds about 30 ish dollars to the monthly so if you paid 1k over invoice add $30 to each one of those numbers i gave above. If you want to be in the 7s or even lower, you will need to: 1. Start with a lower equipped car. 2. Find out if you have corporate discount available to you 3. Wait for ultimate drive events 4. Cultivate a relationship with a decision maker at a dealership 5. Take one on a lot that is sitting that might have less desirable options Getting a price of 1% of MSRP is pretty good, and your MSRP on that car is 78.8k, so a good payment would be 780. All of the assumptions above are with no "cap cost reduction" which is no down payment, BUT with all the fees and taxes etc paid up front. The MSD example also includes MSDs so you would be looking at 7 X the payment + 2k to 2.5k if you were in california. Basically, I am saying you need to either have a bunch of deductions that YOU are not paying (ultimate drive coupons, corporate discounts, incentives on the car from BMW, and a high residual to get anywhere close to what you are proposing... otherwise you are being somewhat unreasonable, especially right now, on that car. (my opinion, not a dealer rep, just a guy on the net... but I do know how much of this works). |

I pay 748/month with taxes included on a 36/10k lease. Nothing but 7 MSD down. This all done on a 17 M3 with nothing but metallic paint and 19" wheels while the residual was 66%. Doable but the car does indeed need to be stripped.
