Starts at $113,800 CAD

Production starts in July. Sounds like most dealers will only get 1-2.

You may be a little late on getting one. Pre-order started in May.

Actually M4 CS starts at $116k. I am sure you can still order one as production starts in July and goes beyond 2018.

Dealers had to confirm and "lock in" configuration a few weeks ago. So, you cant order it anymore, you can only call around and see which dealer have an ordered car that meets your required spec.

All M4CS in Calgary sold out. I believe BMW Gallery have a M3CS coming (not sold) but this was about 2 weeks ago.

At C$116,500, The M4CS comes pretty much loaded in Canada, with very few options. The only cost options are the CCB (C$8,500 for an option to stay away from if one plans to track the car) and alcantara steering wheel (C$600). We get metallic colours and even the special Lime Rock Grey and Frozen Dark Blue colours for free. We also get the equivalent of the US executive package included. All in all, we get a pretty good deal on the CS in Canada. The CS is not a car for everyone though and is indeed quite pricey. But for someone seeking the ultimate of what the M3/4 is all about, a dual use practical daily driver and track car, the CS is worth it.

When you factor exchange rate, duties, regulatory conversion costs and warranty hassles, it becomes quite pricey to do so. Further, the GTS and CS share different intents.

From what I gather, that's only for the "first batch" of M4CS Canadian allocations, which are 2018 production. Dealers will likely receive additional allocations from 2019 production at a later date (likely Q3 according to my sources). Based on the published numbers, 20% to 25% of M4 coupe production will be CS, so it is not that limited.

I’m not hating on the F80 platform, but what a huge ripoff. I really am disappointed by this ridiculous price tag, and throwing in metallic colours ‘for free’ is laughable.
Not sure where you get your numbers, but according to AMS/SA, the M4CS trumps the 718 Cayman S in their superset lap times (7:42 vs 7:47 and 1:11.0 vs 1:11.3 for the Nordschleiffe and Hockenheim short respectively). The M4CS actually beat the Cayman GT4 in many track tests, particularly on longer tracks. Add options to a Cayman-S and it quickly gets into the M4CS' price range, load it up and it gets close $150k . And BTW, even Porsche charge a premium for metallic colours. Further, the Cayman-S and M4CS are not direct competitors. Like I posted previously, the M4CS is about having a practical 4-seat 4-season daily driver that can still rip at the track on weekends. Something you cannot really do in a 2-seat Cayman.

Reading this post of yours, you are indeed "hating on the F80". Like I said, the M4CS is not for everyone. So if you are not interested, just go get something else.

Although the CS has 4 seats, I'd like to know how many people will be using rear seats and/or use it in the winters. I would guess that's less than 5%.
