This would be a total, accumulated gain, if installed correctly. However, it appears that the right side tips might not be lining up perfectly and therefore might limit total gains by a few percentage points. We'd have to put the car on the dyno to know for sure.

On the right side, I had to readjust a bit so they would slide in all the way and now do have symmetric, OEM stagger. What happened was that the inner wall of the tips gets caught on the end of the exhaust piping when your sliding them on, which causes the tip to stick out further at a slight offset, and not settle all the way into place on the spring clips. And again this only happened on the right side for some reason, but what I had to do was be extra careful to make sure the inner lip of the tip was aligned perfectly with the end of the exhaust pipe and then it slid into place correctly.

If you reach your hand in you can feel if the end of the exhaust piping is caught "inside" the inner rim of the tip on one side and then it becomes obvious which direction it's not aligned correctly.

Once you get this sorted out though they look awesome.
Not calling you a liar by any means, but do you mind showing me a picture from the top whenever you get time? And a close up of the left and right stagger? it's making me mad I can't get the tips to align, such an easy task LOL.

Sucks being a perfectionist, huh? I'm the same way. My right sided tips stick out 1-2 mm more than the left. I looked at everything under the bumper and everything looks fine. Maybe your factory tips were the same way, and you didn't notice until after you installed the new tips.

Well when one person said they got it, that really got me going nuts lol. I don't want to keep taking it on and off, and I don't want to damage the tip. I just want to know if he overlooked the stagger like I did when I first installed it, or if he really got the tips to work. OCD is a bitch . My buddy that noticed it first tried uninstalling and installing a few times, and gave up because it always yielded the same results. Again not the end of the world, but if it's completely user error then I'm mad at myself haha.

jesus christ, these damn OEM tips are a B!TCH to take out!!! I've been lightly hammering them trying to prying them out, and mofo's wont budge!

Anyone has some insight into how to best remove them without bending/damaging them, if all you got is a hammer and a screwdriver?

Do INDs method. IND | Exhaust Tip Removal & Installation. I wouldn't use a screwdriver, my friend damaged his stock tips using one. I would recommend getting a rubber mallet. The only thing you will damage doing the IND method are the clips, but you can straighten them out after you get them out.

Took me less then 10 mins to install mine. I pulled them out using some force with my hands. twisted side to side and pulled, 2 of them required some light tapping from the back with hammers.

Good Luck! These tips made a huge difference, looks way better

Got this done under 30 minutes. First I sprayed WD-40 from the back, wait for 3-5 min. Start hammering little by little from the back. I used hard plastic or piece of wood to protect it. When you see it moved or see a space between the edge of the inlet pipe and the stock tips, use the claw of the hammer to pull it. Do this all around till it comes off. Hope this helps. Btw, I have the same stagger issue . Left side seems to be longer too
