Sept 13 production date for my black with red interior. Just traded my 17' for an 18' with comp package and M exhaust.

I thought it was painful last year when I waited for my 17' but now that I know what I'm missing, it's harder now!

Like you style, as I went with the same colors (ext/int full/rims) that you ordered.

Haha thanks. I was considering San Marino as well but ultimately decided to go with Tanzanite. I believe we have made a great choice

Congrats! Time to start collecting parts!

I ordered on 8/5 and went into production on 8/7. As of today I'm in transit. MW though so no individual line delay.

The anticipation is tough, but the use of this forum, researching, picking up parts for mods, and planning all the trips you're going to take during break in is a good and fun way to pass the time.

Fiancé is not happy with the collection of cf parts, spacers, drop-in filters, etc. spread throughout the house. Definitely helps to ease the anticipation!

You're in transit? I called today and I'm still in the lot awaiting to get on the next ship

Hoping Jose doesn't impact shipping schedules!

I'm shipping all the stuff to my buddies shop.

Lame on you still being at port. Also strange because I thought, based on our chat in the other thread, that your car arrive at port before mine.

My car made it to port on Friday... hoping to be on a vessel soon.

I was lucky enough to get an allocation almost immediately, with production starting just a couple days later.

Nice. I'm probably parked next to you. My allocation was a couple of months from my order, but car was in production before I even started checking on it. Mine should be at port now. Last I checked last week it was on its way. Woohoo!

Don't let up.. She'll need to be conditioned to this type of behavior so that you can continue to do so within reason.

I conditioned my wife the same way... and she knows a few things.

1. I will own many cars.

2. I won't own them for periods greater than two years.

3. It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when".

4. I'm always looking for my next car.

5. I will buy parts

How long was your wait at the Germany port

Hi - just two nights ago i put together this list of ships coming into Baltimore as i have an M3 produced on 9/14 sitting at the port right now waiting for a ship. These dates can shift a day or two one way or the other. Hope this helps:

1st column is departure date from Germany, 2nd column is arrival date into Baltimore, MD, 3rd column is shipping line.

9/22 10/5 W&W
9/22 10/6 W&W
9/28 10/9 KLINE
9/30 10/15 W&W
9/30 10/14 W&W
10/1 10/17 ARC
10/4 10/18 NYK
10/5 10/16 KLINE
10/5 10/20 W&W
10/6 10/20 W&W
10/7 10/22 W&W
10/7 10/19 W&W

For those of you who have been picked up from the port in Germany, how long was your wait for a ship headed to the East coast?
