Good deal or not?

So local dealer has 2017 M3 with manual executive, comp package, lighting package that is used with 90 miles. Was sold new by them and buyer returned and traded on DCT M4. Sticker is just shy of 78K and I can get for 70K plus TTL and includes a refresh of maintenance plan.

So good deal or not?

I would ask for more. Right now they are selling it to you for roughly 2500-3000 below invoice. Considering it is now a used car and you will be second registered owner I would ask for more. Also the 2018s are out which has the LCI 2.0 and members on the forum including myself have been able to snag that car at slightly above invoice and some at or below invoice after factoring in some BMWNA incentives.

Just my two cents.

Exactly right. For $1-2k more you can just get an 18 LCI. So why not go with that?

If your heart is set on this particular car, since it is local, then there is very little we can do to convince you otherwise. Either way, make sure YOU are happy with the deal at the end of the day.

You may ask if it was even registered. 90 miles seems like they only had it for a day, which may mean paperwork was never processed.

I wouldn't even ask the dealer if it's been registered. I would run a carfax to see what comes up. If it was registered, you can lowball this car since they already make their profit on it. And for the reasons mentioned above. Offer $67.5 with the other stuff thrown in if you really want that car vs a 2018

Unless it's been sitting there awhile, it's unlikely Carfax will have any relevant info.

If you check the member classifieds under cars for sale/ lease takeovers, there are guys that will get you a CarFax for like 5 bucks.

I'd never get a 2017 after having had owned it and now own the LCI.... it's big improvement
