Just Testing The Water (FS: 2015 M4) **TRADED**

Hi all,

Just wanted to test the water and see the response to selling my 2015 M4. Location is GTA (Toronto), Ontario. Asking price is $66,500 CAD (includes car, cosmetic mods, and tuning mods). Other optional mods can be price to come with the car or parted at.

Attached are the details and pics.

Some additional comments:

• Accident Free (Carproof can be provided)
• Well taken care of (only hand washed and detailed)
• New car warranty till Sept 2018
• Dinan New car warranty till Sept 2018
• Dinan parts warranty till May 2019
• Everything listed in CAD

You can utilize the "List" function, I've found it works well for listing items for sale.

I did use the LIST function, but that is more of a "list" of items. If you look at my spec, price and market estimate cover different items. Thus it will be hard to use their LIST function. Much easier (almost requires) the TABLE

Anyway, too technical here... Please guys... great car, great price (I think)... thoughts? Interests?

You'll lose alot more on the mods. Believe it or not unless its a highly coveted modification. They usually lose 50% of the value after a year(depending on the type can vary slightly use 50% as ballpark). Thus I personally would just sell off any mods that are easily removable. Like rims/exhaust/coils/Tune and price at like 66k it will sell easily. If you care to part out the aesthetic parts you will get some money for them too but may not be worth your time and would also help sell car slightly faster. You'll never get full price on used mods. even brand new in box lose 15-20% on average. If this is your first time selling mods and modified cars this is a FYI mods rarely if ever add value to the market price the car.

Thanks for the feedback. It is my first time trying to private sell my car. I think it may have been my fault that my post is a little confusing. Let me clarify...

There are 2 options to what I am asking:

1. Stock car + Dinan Tune (incl. heat exchanger) + cosmetic mods = $66,500
2. #1 + Wheels + Coils + Exhaust = $77,000

For the stock car, I would prefer to sell to an enthusiast who wants Dinan as there are still 2 years of warranty on it. If I part out the Dinan, warranty is gone. My asking is $66,500.

I am looking to part out my wheels, coils and exhaust. Just thought that if the new buyer likes the look, I would be happy to include it all together with a small discount (as I safe the hassle of parting out). So, the car as is with all mods, I am looking for $77,000.

So, really there is 2 options for the buyer. As for pricing the part out, I think I am relatively fair? Everything is discounted by 28-30%. I think I under valued my coils a little.

Yep your normal pricing for CAD but theres little chance you get extra for your mods on the car. It takes a special buyer to want every one of your mods at that premium. You will easily sell the mods if you just part it out though.

Totally agree with you, Earth. That is why I am very happy to part out the wheels, exhaust and coils. I "would" prefer the Dinan goes with the car for warranty purposes and the fact that it was only recently installed. If you look at the pricing, for $66,500, I am pretty much giving the Dinan to the buyer for free (or basically next to nothing!!)

If the buyer wants, I can definitely part out the Dinan as well and lower the price by $1,500-ish.

The front lip and side skirts are BMW M Performance parts. So, I got them from BMW dealership.
